There aren’t enough stars in the world to review this place! Inside and out, every design choice is flawless and creates a beautiful, warm, welcoming environment. There are multiple cozy and comfortable common spaces, and each guest room is stunning and unique, with extremely comfortable beds, amazing bedding, and super luxe robes. The three-course breakfasts and afternoon snacks are outstanding. But the real magic of the inn is the incredible hospitality of Laurie and Jason. Their warmth, humor, incredible attention to detail, and ability to make each guest feel like their favorite make you feel at home the minute you enter the inn and make you miss it in between visits. Laurie and Jason are the absolute best and we can’t wait to go back again!!

We stayed three nights at Captain Freeman Inn and enjoyed every minute! Innkeepers Laurie and Jason transformed the historic inn dating back to the 1870’s into a bright, light, and charming home away from home. Colors are soft and muted, beautiful artwork throughout — even in the bathrooms. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Jason who showed us the gracious public areas with comfortable seating, including a tea room with lovely china. Fresh flowers were available along with individual vases for guests to create personal floral arrangements for their rooms. We looked forward to the breakfasts each morning — a scrumptious three course, cooked-to-order meal that was different each day. Your appetite will be well satisfied. Both Laurie and Jason helped us create a wonderful long weekend by identifying great restaurants, walking trails, and activities that satisfied our interests. The Inn is super clean. We slept very well in a comfortable king-size bed and appreciated the extra large bath with rainfall shower and other modern amenities. Afternoon treats were delicious. Perfect location for dining, shopping, beaches, and exploring the Cape — a very relaxed vibe. Definitely the #1 Inn on Cape Cod. We’ve already booked our next trip!

My husband and I were fortunate to spend 3 nights in the Eastham room at the Capt. Freeman Inn. Everything was perfection. Laurie and Jason (the owners) go all out to make sure their guests every request is met - and the breakfast is simply too wonderful to describe. Captain Freeman Inn is exceptional in every way. The owners, Laurie and Jason, are knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive. They serve a different delicious three course breakfast every day, and will tailor it to suit vegetarians. There is a tea time, with infused water and iced tea, and different delicious homemade pastries every afternoon. Our room was beautiful. We stayed in the Barnstable room, and it had a sunporch overlooking a garden, an extremely comfortable bed, and a beautiful nautical bathroom. The heated, outdoor, saltwater pool was gorgeous, and it was hard to tear ourselves away to take the 8 minute walk to Breakwater Beach. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend Captain Freeman Inn.

My husband and I cannot say enough about The Captain Freeman Inn. This is our 4th time here. This is our new home away from home. We feel like this is our vacation home. Laurie and Jason make you feel like VIPs. The breakfasts are great. On a scale of 1 to 10 we give it an 11. We can't wait to return. We already booked another week for next year.

The Captain Freeman Inn is a very special place. If you see an open date on their calendar, don’t hesitate to book. The inn itself is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean. But what makes it magical are the innkeepers, Laurie and Jason, who are warm and engaging hosts; they have truly thought of everything with such attention to detail. We were touched by the personalized welcome note and cupcakes, and I loved the DIY flower bar! Laurie and Jason also provided excellent recommendations for local things to do/restaurants to check out (which can also be found on their new podcast -- so fun to listen to ahead of the trip). During our weekend stay we looked forward to the delicious 3-course breakfasts every morning - an absolute highlight! - and enjoyed swimming in and relaxing by the backyard salt water pool. We felt so taken care of and wished we had booked a few more days. Thank you for everything, Laurie and Jason (and for taking the time to send back my impt item that was left behind!). We can’t wait for our next stay at the Captain Freeman Inn!
