Centric property close to all the great things in the city

This location was not what expected. I was concerned about leaving my car on the street after a man came up to us on the street wishing us a “Happy New Year” (in the middle of June). There were people setting off fireworks at night for over 2 hours while we were trying to sleep. There was no microwave. They left a roll with 4 paper towels in the kitchen with no extra. The trash can lid was broken so we just left it off instead of having to touch the lid each time we needed to throw something away. The place was clean enough.

Very Disappointed I definitely don’t recommend anyone book this property. This is my first bad experience with VRBO. I was very disappointed with the property and disappointed with how I was treated as a VRBO guest. I booked this property for 5 nights for my daughter, son-in-law and their two children. They left after one night because of poor condition of the property. The property was shabby in appearance. There were holes in the wall that had been patched but not painted. Electrical switches without a cover and other electrical equipment that did not look installed properly. There were lights that flickered. My son-in-law did not feel his car was safe parked on the street in the neighborhood. I let the host know that they were moving out the next morning after just one night and asked for some credit for the 4 nights that they did not stay there. She did not respond immediately. When I asked again, she stated that there would be no credit. I talked with VRBO representatives twice and they told me they would send an email to the host and see what they could do. The host’s final word after VRBO sent the host an email is no credit would be issued. I am still in talks with VRBO.
