I will never go back. The BridgewaterWyndham Inn is not wheelchair accessible. I couldn’t close the bathroom door in my wheelchair. I asked ahead of time and they ignored the request. My travelling companion said the hotel was 2 star, a trucker’s motel. The desk clerk was extremely rude. She said I’d have to pay for our rooms again until I proved they were charged to my credit card. Once she saw my name, the clerk began to call out my cousin, her school principal, for being sexist and always smelling of alcohol. When I asked her to say positive things, she doubled and tripled down on her slander. Never happened before. Can’t believe it in Bridgewater which is known for Down East friendly people. I would never go back.

We had a great stay ( July 3rd and checked out on July 5th). We stayed here for three days in 2018 as well. Lily at the front counter was awesome, as well as the other ladies. They were very friendly, polite, and professional. The room was clean and spacious, even with all the dampness outside. We would definitely recommend this motel for anyone that is looking somewhere to stay close to Lunenburg. Cheers Harvey & Shirley Lohnes Winnipeg MB.

we requested joining rooms because of babies. we ended up on opposite sides of motel. receptionist called my my wife a lier after we questioned. daughter had to change rooms 3 times. first, AC not worked, second curtains fell off walls, third time room was full of ants. we had to share a room for 2 days but paid for 2 rooms. front desk was very very rude. motel is run down and smells moldy. next room had two big dogs that kept barking all hours. do not recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel was clean, quiet and conveniently located. The gem of this location is just how friendly, inviting and helpful the staff members were. Joanne in particular, like chatting with an old friend. Even gave us some tasty restaurant recommendations! Would definitely recommend a stay here.

This is a budget friendly hotel. It was very clean and had everything necessary. The staff were phenomenal, they could not be more cheery and doing everything possible to help an make you comfortable. This is also a pet frendly hotel. The breakfast bar was nothing to rave about but it fit the bill for the budget. We will definately stay there again any time we are in Bridgewater NS.

I rated this as excellent solely based on the customer care received primarily from Joanne at the front desk. I was in urgent need of a place to stay close to the hospital for a family emergency during a time when vacancies were so limited. We were instantly put at ease once we connected with Joanne. She listened and responded with compassion and immediate action. Going above and beyond. I travel often and have experience dealing with hotel staff on all levels and she by far exceeded every experience I’ve ever had. In regards to the hotel itself it is an older hotel I believe the price fairly reflects that. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the environment was quiet welcoming and friendly. The other staff were great but only had limited interactions. Joanne is the reason I wouldn’t hesitate to return especially during a family medical crisis. She truly had a positive impact during such a difficult time and really made a difference. She IS the kind of hospitality you want and need at all hotels!

Positive things first: the hotel is ideally located near pretty downtown Bridgewater with plenty of shopping and dining options and the lady at the front desk was very friendly and pleasant. Bed was comfy and shower very good. But I know space is limited but there are certainly better solutions than 2 tables for four in the breakfast area, although the concept seems to be "take it to the room". But the biggest complaint is that the hotel hasn't managed to get the noise in the hallways under control - for two consecutive days (nights). I'm not talking about a one-time "run down the hall". For hours until late at night there was screaming, yelling, running - in addition to the loud talk and laughter of the parents or companions who obviously didn't care (to put it politely). I know that a hotel is only partly responsible for its overnight guests, but if there are any violations of house rules or noise regulations, then one should also take action. I don't assume that this noise was tolerated because it was regular guests or a larger travel group that ranked above individual travelers.
