Oh boy, where to start... Booked this hotel for a weekend trip for my girlfriends birthday weekend, to see my sister, and go out to the bird refuge. This hotel was on the way for what i thought was a bargain and the website said only a few rooms left. Our girls were excited because the website stated the pool was available... Then we got there: Parking lot looked like a desolate wasteland out of The Last Of Us, the front desk clerk was a man of few words.. the check in was pretty standard for any hotel. We get into the room and it looked like it was locked in time. the bathroom had what I can only describe as a "shower for the skinny". I'm not by any means a large man, but my 5'6 bulky frame would have a hard time maneuvering in the shower. There was only 1 open outlet in the entire room, and that was going to charge 4 cell phones, a computer, 2 medical devices and a camera battery? I don't think so. The was no water in the pool at all, even though the website said the pool was available. To top it all off the wi-fi name and password were in a basket at the front desk and I'm pretty sure it wasn't going to be a secure connection given how the password is so easy. (We didn't stick around long enough to really find out much more. We checked out 30 minutes after arriving and went to a different hotel in the area. I would not recommend staying here, unless you have no other option, but I would recommend doing a full check of the room before climbing under the covers to make sure its bug free.. I mean there has to be a reason out of all the available rooms the property has that it looks abandoned.
