Can’t recommend this venue more! Our wedding was just perfect! Exactly how we wanted it! Nothing too much trouble! The perfect wedding at the perfect venue with the most perfect staff! Nothing too much trouble! Thank you all! We loved it! Xx

Rooms are beautiful paid for a deluxe room which was beautiful then walked into the bathroom. Not really what you expect to see, there were other deluxe rooms at the time of booking. I feel that there should of been a discount for the state of the ceiling, the shower also leaked, upon complaining re; the aesthetic ceiling, no apology just i will report it to housekeeping, a slight discount should of been refunded. The building was beautiful & the courtyard very quaint the staff on arrival very friendly & made you feel welcome. No instructions with coffee maker, i water logged the glass table. So unfortunately u let yourself down a star

We had our wedding at the Black Horse Berts events venue in May this year. Lydia was amazing and nothing was too much trouble, the day was flawless. Many of our guests stayed overnight and again the service was fantastic. We would definitely recommend them as a wedding venue.

10.08.24 the date we was lucky enough to get married in this beautiful venue, Lydia and her team went above and beyond to make our day special, The venue is beautiful and intimate which is something I wanted, it’s a small aisle which I and my bridesmaids were grateful of, the wedding meal was gorgeous as well as the evening meal, we can’t recommend this place enough. The rooms were amazing so clean and modern but with original features. We can’t wait to come back for a child free night.

We got married here and I could not recommend it enough. From the planning through to the actual day we couldn't fault a single thing. Lydia and her team went above and beyond to make our day everything we wished for and ensured every little detail was spot on.

I was lucky enough to stay here for a work trip and chose here over your standard hotel chains. I’m really glad I made that choice. Not only was the price better, but the service I have received throughout my stay has been impeccable. I was greeted and shown to my room which was lovely, cozy and full of character. I arrived just before food closing time and they ensured I was able to order a meal and have a couple of drinks after a long journey. The food was high standard and enjoyed some local draft. I then settled for the night in my room. In the morning I had a wonderful breakfast and again the service was 5 star. I’ve had a lovely stay and would recommend anyone to choose this hotel over the standard chains as you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I've given a 5, as it was simply a wonderful stress free day, the service was amazing, lydia and her team went over and above, the food was delicious, and the rooms were super comfortable, and spotlessly clean, would highly recommend the Black Horse

What a perfect venue for a perfect day! Despite the typical British weather not going to plan Lydia and her team were amazing in helping change things last minute, as well as making everything as easy as possible throughout the whole process. We will never not recommend or mention the black horse inn to anyone, it was simply amazing from start to finish. Thank you!

I have stayed here several times at this beautiful hotel and have never been disappointed. The rooms are immaculately clean and have everything you could wish for. The breakfast was delicious and the staff as always are very kind and helpful.
