The Swallows Rest Bed & Breakfast

Our room was super cute, cozy, quiet, and had a lovely view of the garden patio and sheep field. The host was incredibly friendly and wonderful to talk to. Her and her family made us feel right at home. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the both of us loved the freshly baked cookies that were left for us!♡ My boyfriend and I are definitely going to stay here again on our next visit!♡♡♡

Over the years we have stayed in many B&Bs and hotels across England and Wales, and the Swallows Nest rates as highly as any . Our host Sam was very welcoming and informative about the best places to eat locally (the Red Lion at Cranford - about 12 minutes drive - is well worth a visit). The B&B is on a quiet lane, but within very easy walking distance of the local village facilities - 2 pubs and a Co-op. The room was spacious and finished to an extremely high standard - underfloor heating in the bathroom was a bonus - and the bed was large and comfortable. The TV had Netflix, so there was plenty of on-screen entertainment to keep you occupied in the evening. We had a continental breakfast which offered us plenty of choice with the option of breakfast in our room if we wanted it. The dining area also had a self service mini bar if you didn't wish to venture out. We visit Northamptonshire regularly, and the Swallows Nest will be our 1st choice on the occasions that we stay over.

Sam is the most amazing host. I booked this little get away for our 8 year anniversary and Sam suggested restaurant's and even booked ours also which was so much help. The room was so spacious and comfortable with the biggest bath tub which I happily soaked in for ages. The little quirk of "The honesty Fridge" was super cute and the breakfast the next morning was incredible. We will most definitely be back Sam. Thank you :)
