The location is wonderful right opposite the entrance to the botanic gardens and to the otherside the CBD. There is a nearby cafe in the park that is wonderful for breakfast. The hotel is clean and provides basic services that all hotels should. It's within walking distance of all public transport options.

The room was super clean and beds are huge. The aircon may need to be checked by maintenance (specifically in room231) because the room doesn’t get cold even if it is left on for 48hours. The airflow is too low and I was sweating for 3nights. I did raise this issue on the second day but Im not sure if this was checked. Overall, its an excellent experience and would book again.

One of our best stay in Japan - hotel was located in convenient place with public transport, not noisy or crowded. Staff was very friendly, offered help explaining menus, excellent breakfast.

Lovely hotel with gorgeous pool area and right in the city centre. Loved it!

Always have good experience with the service provided by their staff regardless of the receptionists or the cleaners. That's why I always like to come back to this hotel each time I travel to Brisbane.

It was a very nice relaxing stay, the included breakfast we paid for was great a good variety to choose from, location is good as it is opposite the gardens and good for early morning walks before breakfast, loved how the hotel kept some of it's yesteryear charm in the foyer and restaurant...made you think what it was like back in it's heyday, definitely coming back again

Excellent location, friendly staff, excellent room

Excellent location right opposite botanical gardens and a short walk from many if the hotspots. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner (hair in shower), and service at front desk could have been friendlier. Gym is quite small, with more than 3-4 people in there you’d struggle.

We have stayed there for 3 nights for our holiday. Everything there was great for us, the room was clean as well as the lovely old building was well maintained. The price was reasonable for the high quality of interior and amenities in the room, the services and location. We would book this hotel again if we go to Brisbane in the future.

Excellent hotel, aged however very well maintained and presented. Definitely stay again. Location is also very good.

Loved our hotel! It’s jn the city centre and also close to the park, just a few minutes away from everything. What topped it all off is the toilet! I never thought a heated seat in the middle of summer would be so good! This should be mandatory in hotels.
