I had a delightful breakfast here. Not only is the building a nice blend of traditional architecture with modern sensibilities but prompt service, good banter with two of the serving staff (I believe their names were Megan and Taylor) and a big breakfast that lived up to it's name left me walking out with a smile!

Recently visited Channings again for the rugby. Atmosphere was great they even had live music after the england game 🎶 The staff were fantastic a very busy game but still managed top notch service. Sara was very helpful as we're the rest of the team

family meal out was great here it has a great anterior aswell as beer garden, great spot to watch the sports on the weekend to have small plates and a pint All the staff was friendly aswell as the AM he welcomed us as we entered and tailored to our needs

We were in Bristol visiting my daughter in hospital. We stayed at the channings hotel. I have to say the staff were exceptional going above and beyond for us. The food was really good wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Thank you so much for the hospitality will definitely be coming back!

Food was excellent really knowledgeable towards my friends allergies and very cautious too! Very attentive the new kitchen staff are absoulte fantastic Megan and Bradley the managers on were very helpful! Monika who served me was very helpful

Came in for a pint and some pool with some mates. Asked a member of staff for some more cue tips as they were worn down and Taylor was more than happy to help and she got some for me immediately. Very helpful would 100% reccomend. Lovely place to bring friends or family. Definitely returning

The property looks lovely from the outside and indeed is very busy in the pub. It’s a different story when staying in the hotel! The family room that we had was disgusting, tired and rundown. The plus side was the staff are pleasant and it’s close to the City.

Lovely garden in the heart of Clifton. Great service by the manager Bradley and great tasting food. The hotel is tired looking but for the price of the stay we couldn’t grumble. Overall happy with our stay, the location and beer garden is the heart of this place.
