Best hotel mattress I’ve ever slept on. My room was quite small but the imaginative way in which the space has been used to be functional was brilliant. Attention to detail was noted, such as having a blackout roller blind, a bottle of water, working radio, generous sized shower. A lovely feel to the communal kitchen where I helped myself to hot drinks and fruit … it was like a home kitchen, very well equipped with a homely feel. Everything throughout the building was neat, orderly, interesting to look at and gave a sense of privacy as well as homeliness.

Really comfortable, relaxing guesthouse . Amazing service from Carly at breakfast, beautiful cooked to order breakfast & the best chats, she is one in a million :-) great location to walk to all the sites, highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and convenient in Bristol!

We arrived early but our room were ready so we could start exploring Bristol. Location is excellent, walking distance to the museum and SS Great Britain and in a beautiful part of Bristol next to Cabot Park with abundance of eating places close to hand. Elegant property, comfortable beds, toiletries provided and tasty breakfast. Only negatives are no tea/coffee facility or tv in room .. we do like this privacy as opposed to impose oneself into a communal kitchen/lounge. We did appreciate our stay though in this establishment.

This is the best place where you can stay when you visit Bristol. Elegant, classy and comfortable... even romantic! This old building, majesticly run by Tina, is very close to the main attractions of the city, all of them reached by walk. We have loved the cleanliness, the position and the amazing atmosphere you breathe in. Well done and very recommended
