Premier Inn Bristol City Centre (Finzels Reach)

The location is good and convenience.

We had a family stay March 22nd for 1 night. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a beautifully clean room, which was so comfortable. We had plenty of tea and coffee in the room, along with plenty of towels and extra pillows. We had a wonderful night's sleep here, and we would definitely stay again.

Stayed in a family room at maximum occupancy (2 adults, 2 kids and a baby. Have stayed in 4 other PIs in the last 6 months and this has definitely been the best. Room was slightly larger, maybe a foot wider and longer and it made all the difference. No skimping on kit - eg usually only get 2 mugs for the adults and got 4. Room was clean and well serviced. Breakfast buffet was relaxed and well stocked. Bag storage was useful on arrival and departure and easy to request. Every member of staff we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. Great location with a brilliant street food market right outside on Friday lunchtimes! One slight niggle was the shower occasionally got an airlock in it which required a lot of jiggling to get the flow back to normal. Also would prefer the handheld shower option when travelling with young children as easier to hose them down at the end of a busy day! But I'm being picky - for the price paid, the comfort of the room and the approach of the team, this is a great PI and we'll definitely stay again here when we return to Bristol.

Really enjoyed our stay here while visiting my brother in Bristol :) the rooms were clean, beds were comfy, and the staff were excellent - I’d like to shout out Sammy, she was incredible at accommodating my youngest brother’s dinner requirements every evening, and it was a pleasure to have such a personable staff member we could look forward to speaking to every night.

We arrived Friday evening after a very inconvenient travel issue and was greeted with a smile at reception (sorry, I did not note the name) After a quick check in we grabbed a drink at the bar and headed off out to Cappadocia, highly recommended and not too far to walk. On return our heating seemed faulty so we reported this to reception who quickly fixed the problem, gold star! May I add that this was the only issue we had all weekend. (We love Premier Inn) We only had drinks in the evenings and breakfast both mornings which offered plenty of choice (we do miss the muffins though) We spoke to the lady who seemed to be working awfully long hours all day Saturday and Sunday yet gave us a smile each time she saw us. I have a hospitality background so know the challenges but in this day and age these hours cannot be legal? The weekend event we attended was a 5 minute walk away and so convenient for us. We normally stay in the centre of Bristol for our trips but will be returning to this hotel from now on. Impressed!

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel for my work travels. The location is perfect really, just a short walk from Temple Meads train station and also close to where I was delivering my training. The staff I met were very friendly and helpful. I had a room on the 4th floor, it was a large room with good facilities and the usual comfy bed, work desk, free Wi-Fi, good sized bathroom, etc. There was a kettle and a small box of tea / coffee / milks. Breakfast was good, with a generous selection of cold and hot options. The hot food was tasty and served at the perfect temperature. The only minor niggle in my room was the shower, which had just a fixed head and was plumbed into the bath taps so it was a bit hit and miss regarding the temperature, but otherwise it was a great stay.
