Abbots Grange Manor House

Unique experience staying 2 nights in a 700 year old manor house... Stunning house and grounds and best location - very private and quiet but a 2 min walk to Broadway's high street... We had the Elizabethan Suite - beautifully maintained with a royal vibe and a super huge bathroom... Clean and comfy! Very cozy Great Room and an adorable Honesty Bar... We came without a car and it was no problem to schedule rides from Broadway Taxi... We went to the Cotswolds Farm Park and Bourton on Water... A short stay but will remain a happy memory of a very special mother/daughter holiday!

We had a fantastic stay in this stunning Manor House. Our room was Morris which we were delighted to find had been recently been refurbished. The room was well apportioned and the bathroom perfect for our requirements. The servicing of the room was timely and completed to a high standard. The bottle of chilled Champagne on arrival, together with the chocolates make us feel valued as soon as we arrived. The breakfast service/food was to the highest quality and the afternoon tea and cake very much appreciated. All the staff were very professional and friendly, but a special mention must go to Eleanor, who could not have done anymore to make our stay comfortable. This is our second stay with you and certainly won’t be our last.

What a wonderful experience! A beautiful manor house, well-appointed rooms and baths, a lovely lounge area, and such professional and friendly service. And you're steps away from Broadway, across the street from a wonderful pub, and blocks from numerous trails through the Cotswold countryside.

Stayed on Sunday 8th December 2024 in the Bishops Suite. This was our first visit and we were astounded as to how nice the place was. The welcome and the tour round with the history was amazing. Although they don’t have a restaurant it is so close to the beautiful village of Broadway with numerous choices for evening meal it doesn’t matter. Our room was fantastic, warm and incredible. 4 poster bed so comfy! Breakfast was delightful too. Will definitely be visiting again but we’ll try and go when there is no storms! Abbots Grange is a gorgeous, quiet haven from the moment you arrive. Staff are wonderful, especially Stacey who makes greeting and check-in seem effortless. This was our fifth visit and we opted for the Bishop’s Suite once again. So much space and comfort and very close to the wonderful Great Hall. Breakfasts are good with plenty of choice and several healthy options. Thumbs-up for always making our coffee pot extra-strong, as requested. A couple of minor things this visit which we did mention on check-out to a staff member: the rain-shower head in Bishop’s needs a jolly good de-scaling. It sprayed everywhere and was, directionally, pretty wayward and we also don’t welcome the fire pit gatherings after 10pm. As we walked past towards our suite some men were loud and drunk on two nights. I wouldn’t expect this after hours at such an otherwise peaceful hotel. Sorry.

The property is exactly what you imagine of a beautiful country get away. We stayed in the Carriage Room off the main house. The room was well designed and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, kind and met our every need. We can’t wait to return!
