Our working alpaca farm offers a peaceful and relaxing farmstay accommodations experience. Here you are surrounded by the spectacular Brokenback ranges and the Yengo-Wollemi National Park. Reconnect with family and friends while enjoying the misty mornings, the clear night skies and the peaceful rural landscape of The Hunter Valley.
Our Hunter Valley farm is the perfect place to get away from it all and is great for families, with our Alpacas to keep the kids entertained during your getaway, whether that be just for the day or you decide to stay for a while in one of our self contained farmstay cottages.
The cottages are located next to the alpaca fields with views of the animals. Guests are welcome to meet and feed the animals at any time throughout the day.
Guests have access to a children's playground, shared laundry facilities and a sheltered entertainment area with barbecue. They can enjoy a game of tennis, swim in the pool or challenge their family & friends to a table tennis match.
It's a perfect place to unwind, have an authentic farm experience waking up to the animals on the farm and reconnect with your loved ones.
Throughout the year, engage in the many children/families and couples activities which happen on the property.

Our kids had fun feeding the animals. We loved waking up to the animals right behind us. We noticed how clean and healthy and well feed all the animals were. Really well looked after. We are looking forward to our next visit next year…………………..

We just had the best weekend at Starline! Our group included two families of four and three singles - everyone had a ball! We stayed in the Stockyard suites. The kids were thrilled waking up to pony's and alpacas having their breaky at our door. The suite was super clean and easily accommodated two adults, a toddler and a baby. Feeding the animals was such a highlight for kids and adults alike. From the baby alpacas to the goats, pigs, donkeys, chickens, and miniature horses; all the animals were so happy and friendly. The staff helped us find a babysitter and recommended gorgeous local wineries to visit - all within 15 minutes drive. Everything went perfectly. Can't recommend enough. We'll be back!

A wonderful destination for families and fabulous wedding venue. Accommodation is lovely and comfortable. Alpacas aplenty with ability to hand feed this little guys. Bags of food available freely for anyone wanting to experience the hand feeding. Reception staff are wonderful and accommodating. Highly recommend spending time at this relaxing and special farm.

We had a great time at Starline Alpacas. I booked as we were going to a wedding next door and they were so helpful and accomodating from start to finish. They helped me book a taxi to and from the wedding venue, gave me so much food to feed the alpacas and free mozzie spray when I got bitten in the early evening. We stayed in the stockyard rooms which are perfectly sized for 2 people and have alpacas right outside. The rooms are clean, modern and with a little kitchenette so you can do basic food. It is a beautiful place and the alpacas all have big personalities and are such fun to feed. I loved it and would heartily recommend staying here to enjoy the peaceful setting, local wineries and cuddly floofs.

Had an absolutely amazing time over the weekend with my wife and 15 mth old son. We stayed there for 2 night and roamed around a lot of the day playing and feeding many of the animals. It was great to be able to go into the alpaca enclosure and feed them all, more so it was a surprise to see how many different anils were there and how many baby animals were around as well. Absolutely loved it and highly recommend to any family. The location is just up the road from a few wineries as well which were great to go and check out for lunch hand some tastings.

Enjoyed a wonderful stay in a mountain view cottage with my parents and child. The cottage was new and modern and spotlessly clean with lovely views of the paddocks, and located very close to the pool and other facilities. We stayed mid week in mid Dec and did not run into many other guests. Each cottage offered good privacy and the farm was tidy and peaceful. Alpacas were the highlight but feeding all the other cute animals especially the pigs was so fun also! The staff at reception are lovely - I would like to say a big THANK YOU particularly to Esther, who was so kind and generous and helped me patch up my car (which was badly damaged with smashed tailgate and windows from an incident on the last night) for the journey home. I look forward to staying again soon!

Our first baby free weekend away had us booked in at Starline Alpacas into the stockyard suites. We were so happy with the room - comfy bed & double shower. Beautiful views out onto the stockyards, morning visits from the alpaca’s & were impressed the setup and layout of the farm. It’s perfect for couples or families with quite a bit to do. The alpaca’s were all very friendly. Close to wineries & attractions. The owners were also lovely!

We booked the 4 x Waterview Cottages which were ideally located close enough but not too close together for the 17 members of our family to stay for the nearby wedding of our son. The cottages are perfect for these sorts of family events because each room has its own ensuite and air conditioning. The beds are so big and comfortable. The kitchens are well equipped and the lounge and deck areas are ample. However, the best thing about the whole place is not the Alpacas!? The best thing about Starline Alpacas Farmstay is the incredibly helpful staff. They were so friendly and welcoming and could not have done more for us while we were there for 4 days. They even allowed us to use the function room fridges as we had so much food and drink with us! And to top it off they even gave us a 10% discount when we checked out. I would rate these staff 11 out of 10! Highly highly recommend it!
