We had the pleasure of staying at the Beatnik for five nights in August. Could not be more happy with our choice. The grounds and rooms are beautiful and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the common areas (indoor and out). There is a full kitchen and dining room so we cooked our own meals most nights. Highly recommended.

The Beatnik Hotel seems like a good idea, in theory. But unfortunately it's not worth the hassle or the cost. The owner is unaccommodating and dismissive when it comes to changes in plans and the front staff are unhelpful. I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel.

The grounds are beautiful. When sunny and warm, it must be wonderful if you are looking for a rustic get-away.. Breakfast was basic, nor much variety, and coffee maker for lattes broke both days we were there. The air-condition unit in the rooms was so loud we couldn't sleep soundly, had to turn it off, and then room was hot and humid. No TV in the rather small room. We were unfortunate to hit a rain storm, hydro went out, and we stayed without internet and air-condition in the conference room for many long hours, rendering our conference a bit of a challenge.

My wife and I had a lovely stay at Beatnik while we visited Balnea Spa. The hotel is reminiscent of a cozy, countryside ski lodge with abundant community room space, a nice bagel bar for breakfast, and friendly staff that made for an excellent overall experience!

We were blessed with fabulous weather to enjoy the outdoor spaces at the hotel which were beautiful. Beds were comfortable but there weren't blinds for some rooms. People who walked by could see into the apartment space, and there was too much light shining in through the curtains of one of the bedrooms. (An adjacent door spotlight was aimed practically in the room.) We enjoyed the breakfast and it was a quick walk to the spa. Our space was clean, and quiet. The kitchenette was well equipped.

It is exactly what it aspires to be: a clean, modern hotel in a natural, country setting with a rustic spa feel. The grounds are well-maintained, the view is beautiful and the staff is friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the family room with a double bed in a separate room and bunks in an alcove behind a curtain. The room was small, but the layout made it work. The shower was excellent. We had a picnic table outside our backdoor with a view of the mountains. The little firepit out front with free marshmallows was a very nice touch.

Prestation honnête pour ce type d’hébergement. Correct sans grand luxe. Très propre et le lit était très confortable. Un petit frigo dans la chambre serait sûrement apprécié. Nous avions une suite avec lit king. Il n’y a pas de téléviseur dans la chambre, pour nous ce n ‘est pas un problème toutefois. La réception était rapide et courtoise et le personnel que nous avons croisé était souriant et gentil. Le petit déjeuner un peu limité, bagel, fruits, yogourt. Jus de pomme et orange. Café et tisanes. Nous ne l’avons pas utilisé mais il y a une belle piscine. Nous avions passé la journée au Balnéa Spa et la location est très pratique. Nous retournerions sans doute si nous retournons au Balnéa.

L’hôtel est très sympa, idéalement situé à proximité du spa Balnéaire et du lac Gale en pleine nature. Les chambres ont été rénovées et sont parfaites, excepté pour la climatisation dont la ventilation empêche proprement de s’en servir la nuit tant elle est bruyante, ce qui est très pénible en été lorsque la température est haute. Le petit déjeuner a par contre été dégradé avec un choix extrêmement limité. C’est bagel ou bagel…. Confitures, granolas. Il n’y a plus de protéines, jambon, œuf… C’est à la limite de l’acceptable. La piscine permet un moment de détente agréable. Le parking est toujours aussi aisé avec beaucoup de place. En résumé, compte te u du prix des chambres qui n’ont pas été dégradés, nous ne sommes pas certains d’y revenir, ce qui est dommage car nous aimions bien cet endroit. Mais le choix d’hébergement est vaste aux alentours de Bromont…

L'emplacement de l'hôtel permet de bénéficier d'une vue superbe et de bien s'immerger de la nature. Vraiment chouette de pouvoir accéder directement aux sentiers de randonnées du Mont Gale. La décoration de l'hôtel est originale et au goût du jour. Je ne dirais pas que la literie, les accessoires et le mobilier sont très haut de gamme... mais mais quand même très bien et tout est très propre partout. Pour ce qui est du petit déjeuner qui est inclus... c'est bien, mais encore, je crois que quelques items pourraient être ajoutés pour offrir un meilleur rapport qualité/prix aux clients.
