I used to use Travelodge every week in the 90’s but now it’s been ruined and I have had a poor experience in 2 of their hotels in one week. Choose another hotel… the breakfast box is a total rip off and worthless

So cute! My partner was working near here so stayed for 4 nights and it was so much better than expected. The girlies on the desk were honestly SO lovely and helped accommodate all my funny needs and were just diamonds, would 100% stay again! Also right next to the station so made getting in to town just a breeze. Thank you so much !!

If you don't mind waking up to find your sink and shower don't work, that the staff will tell you it's a known issue which they can't do much about, that the water sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, then this is the place for you. If you don't mind that fire doors to stairwells don't close, and this is also a known issue which they are 'working on', then go ahead and stay. If you don't mind being woken at midnight by 'housekeeping' because systems have gone down and they need to know (at midnight) who is in the hotel, fine. If you don't mind your room card being randomly switched off half way through your uncomfortable stay, and taking about half an hour to explain what the issue is and that no, you can't say whether or not the shower is working because you can't get into your room ... you will feel right at home. The room looked smart (it's new), the bed was a bed, it had 4 walls and a roof. But if you feel running water is part of your booking, you will be disappointed.
