Super 8 by Wyndham Brookshire TX

This place is horrible. I HAD NO HOT WATER FOR A SHOWER IN THE MORNING. I will never stay at another Super 8 ever again. I tried to call several times to talk to the manager, Denish, but he was never there and he never returned my phone call. I even stopped by the next day after I checked out but the desk clerk went to another room and told me it was his day off.

Walked in on me twice without knocking and I’d just gotten out of the shower and within 20 minutes they opened my door twice with staff key. I had to yell stop several times before they shut the door. The staff were horrible to the customers and yelled at an older couple in front of us at check in. Internet didn’t work. Bathroom has black mold. Not sure how this place is open…

This Super 8 by Wyndham was horrific! Property inside and out was filthy. Bathroom bathtub and showerhead. Also filthy. None or extremely limited Internet connection. Room smelled dirty. Appliances and lamps were broken, no lights, no lampshades, air conditioner did not work properly. No complementary breakfast was served even after it was requested. Coffee wasn’t made either. Front desk was unprofessional Arrogant and dismissive. Trash outside and inside this property location. Avoid at all cost!

DO NOT!!! I repeat DO NOT book a room here. I know we are trying to save a couple of dollars for a room but those couple of dollars you are saving are not worth it. The first room they gave us had insects in the ceiling. They changed us to three different rooms but all the rooms were HORRIBLE! The bathtub was extremely dirty and so were the sheet.

We booked online without a refund policy. As soon as you walk in the sliding doors there are five glue traps on the floor to catch mice. Checked in. Remote and second key card didn’t work. Front desk issued another remote and key card. Neither worked. Third remote worked, third key card never worked. Hair in the bathtub. Continental breakfast at 0846 Sunday consisted of 2 mini muffins. I just wanted to get out of there.

Both the room and bathroom were dirty. Shower not working the way it was supposed to, the handle turned 360 degrees, no stopper in the basin, toilet seat broken, brown dirt under the toilet, dirt and water bottle under the bed which tells me the place was not even checked prior our arrival.

Do not waste your time with this hotel.. it’s absolutely filthy and I didn’t even stay! We ended up finding another hotel in town. Roach in the room, dirty beds.. mold all over the toilet and the shower was full of hair and smelled like pee! Oh and the ac was full of Cheerios!! They gave us another room and it hadn’t been cleaned at all! Beds still not made and trash in the room.. the lady at the front desk was friendly and gave us a refund no problem! Felt bad for her she said it was her first night!

Just be aware this is not a up kept option. Cleanliness was the biggest issue. Didn’t stay. I travel for work and this is one of the worst of stayed at. Go stay in the Katy Mills area. I am saving you the hassle. Found reasonable one with a little more of a drive.

Room refrigerator had an open can of green beans inside. Shower switch on tub faucet was missing and we had to ask to shower in another room. The sink stopper mechanism was on the floor under the bathroom counter. No "Continental Breakfast" was available June 12, 2022 and not informed by hotel staff. 3rd floor hall A/C was either broken or turned off. Room very hot, but room A/C had it cool in 1.5 hours or so after arrival. Elevator was grimy and walls streaked... no cleaning effort. 1st floor Men's and Women's bathrooms were "out of order".
