We arrived from the UK with receipts of our rooms; booked. 2 rooms, 2 nights. The hotel informed us that THEY only had 1 room booked for 2 nights, not 2 rooms for 2 nights. We showed them our paid booking. They were NOT interested and said they could not help and said, if we wanted another room we would have to pay extra. We argued, asking them to speak to their third party who they instruct to book rooms on their behalf. They did not! Now not understanding English.
They were uncooperative and rude!
Whilst waiting another group of people were arguing with the reception staff over their deposit
After an 8 hour flight, we booked another room (no choice) but, we cancelled the second night. Could not wait to get out
of there!!!
The location wasn’t great, but we found ‘The WhiteRabbit’ bar/restaurant which was great. Food was amazing, had ‘poutine’ for the first time yum 😋
