First appearance wasn’t good. Recent renovation material scattered around the building. Once in our room it was ok. Recently renovated. Floors sloped. Lake view but windows so dirty hard to see the lake. Bed uncomfortable. Bathroom was nice.

Great place. Newly renovated room. Comfortable bed. Nice views. Good bar and restaurant. Would recommend. Friendly staff. Small refrigerator in room. Hot water in shower. Just had appetizers in restaurant but the were good. Bar has pool table.

Some current construction on Main Street makes it hard to find the entrance but the older hotel has recently renovated rooms. We had a large room with comfortable king bed on the main floor which was dog friendly - big plus for us as we travelled with two dogs. Clean and tidy - way better than the pricier room in a Similar aged hotel in Thunder Bay the night before. And much less than hotels in Sault at Marie that we checked tonight. Drive a little further and stay in Bruce Mines. Hotel has a restaurant but it closed shortly after we arrived but could still buy a cold beer. We walked next door to Bobbers to get take out.

Stopped on our way thru on our trip from PEI to home (AB). Don’t let the outside fool you. They are doing work, so it looks kinda iffy. But once we got in…we were very pleased. Room is large, bed is comfortable.. We are very pleased with our selection.

Hotel was undergoing renovations but the room was really nice and modern and had all conveniences such as safe, fridge, ac. Room was clean and beds were comfy. Check in was fast and friendly. There’s a Bar and Pizza place downstairs open late weekends but it was quiet.

What a treasure - newly renovated with traveller’s needs incorporated into their spacious rooms. Comfy bed, desk, TV, Internet, spacious super clean well stocked bathroom and bonus . . . A really comfy couch!!! A couple of bonuses to your stay here - the Marina is right behind the Inn that is well groomed with play areas and . . . . The restaurant next door has meals that gourmet and the best pies - especially the lemon meringue!

If travelling by boat, this motel is the best place to stay. The marina is right there! This place is undergoing interior upgrades, so you might get lucky with a newer room, we did not (maybe because we got a discounted rate through another online travel website). Although the exterior needs updating and looks rundown, this is a pleasant place to stay and we saw no bugs. The restaurant/bar closes at 8pm on the 5 days it is open, so plan accordingly. Other food and ice cream is close by and a gas station variety store is across the road. We might stay again if in the area.

Everything about this place far exceeded our expectations. The room has recently been updated, and is kept spotlessly clean. The bathroom is small but luxurious, and the beds are comfortable. Be sure to try the restaurant. The pizza will amaze you. Crispy crust, but not ultra thin, and generously topped with fresh ingredients. Once you have finished you dinner and maybe had a drink at the bar, you can walk to the back of the Inn and watch the sun set over the harbour.
