Hotel le Bois de Bruges recensioner

Hôtel idéalement situé à proximité de la grand Place et du quartier historique. Le personnel est très agréable et serviable. La chambre est un peu petite pour un hôtel 4 étoiles mais les services à disposition sont présents (cafetière Nespresso, sèche-cheveux, wifi,...). Le petit déjeuner était un régal, je vous le recommande! Il y a deux parkings payants à proximité.

Es war alles wie erwartet. Sehr gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet habe ich aber nicht gebucht, da ich es zu teuer fand. Schade dass man nicht à la carte bestellen konnte.

Hôtel bien situé proche du centre de Bruges. Petit déjeuner correct avec beaucoup de choix. Literie un peu dure et des odeurs d'égouts dans la salle de bain. Mais impossible de dormir avant 2h du matin. D'abord a cause de la foire sur la place vrijdagmarkt jusque 00h30 puis a cause de la musique et des chants au bar de l'hôtel et ensuite des gens qui parlaient dans les couloirs et sur la terrasse a l'extérieur comme en plein jour. Aucune civilité de la part de ces gens et aucune remarque de l'hôtel ? Tout est donc permis dans cet hôtel ?

Superbe hôtel récemment rénové. Les chambres sont grandes, superbe salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et de qualité. Le seul bémol ( pas un vrai café)

Da Hotel war sauber und das Personal soweit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für eine Stadtbesichtigung eine ideale Lage. Das Frühstück war etwas einfallslos und täglich das gleiche. Die Rühreier leider auf Fertigbasis. Frisches Obst war wenig vorhanden, auch Körnerbrötchen gab es nicht. Manchmal Körnerbrot. Ein großes Manko war der Rummel direkt vor den Haus und unserem Zimmer. Dafür kann das Hotel zwar nichts, wir wurden bei Buchung aber auch nicht darauf hingewiesen. Obwohl wir 7 Nächte dort verbracht haben, wurde uns kein anderes Zimmer nach hinten raus angeboten, obwohl viele Personen nur ein oder zwei Nächte dort verbracht haben. Diese tägliche Lärmquelle bis 23:00 Uhr bzw. teilweise bis 24:30 war schon extrem. Hier habe ich mehr Unterstützung vom Personal erwartet.

I stayed here in December on a coach tour for the christmas markets. The hotel is situated in an excellent position for visits to the markets and amenities. My room was excellent, recently refurbished I believe. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was superb being served in an atrium, with plenty of natural light. The choice of items was great. I will certainly be returning.

Revue of Hotel Le Bois De Bruges, Bruges-Belgium, of our stay on 29/12/2024 to 02/01/2025 The hotel advertised as four-star and charged more than € 300 per night. Based on our experience, see below, we would rate it as low as a two-star hotel. 1.The staff at the reception had no elemental host manners and behaved unprofessionally when we had to deal with them. Moreover, we were not the only ones; we witnessed guests angry and agitated when trying to address short comings of accommodation as well as facilities. 2.Our accommodation was less than a 25 square meters and had no coat hangers. When taking showers we had to place the soap bar on the floor; amazing!!, there was nothing where to place the soap. There was no shampoo and the shower room which was not properly clean. One time a peace of soap was left stuck in the floor drain, this resulted in water overflow that we had to mop-up ourselves. 3.The restaurant service was very poor; on our first diner the wine ice bucket was placed on the adjacent table and had pour the wine ourselves, on other occasion, when we ordered two Cavas, the bar lady look as we were a bother, further we had to take the drinks ourselves after ruddily being told “you can sit in the entrance lounge”. 4.The venue for the much heralded New Year’s Dinner, costing almost € 350 for two, looked like a cheap restaurant. Furthermore, there was neither decoration nor festive wishes. The dish service was very untimely and unprofessionally handled. Just before 12 o’clock we had to remind the waiter that they forgot to serve us traditional Champaign. Our stay at Hotel Le Bois De Bruges began on a rather sour note. Upon arrival, the room assigned to us had a strong odour of sewerage, which made it quite unbearable. To make matters worse, we found that there were still some contents left in the toilet, which was completely unacceptable and a clear oversight in housekeeping. Unfortunately, as we arrived late at night, we did not report these issues to the staff at that time. Throughout our stay, we also experienced frequent problems with the lift, which was off more often than on. Given that the hotel is rated as a 4-star establishment, it felt much closer to a 2-star experience. The quality and condition of the facilities certainly didn't reflect the price that was charged. Despite these initial and ongoing issues, the hotel did have its positives, but these problems significantly overshadowed our overall experience. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures better cleanliness and maintenance standards for future guests.

We booked five rooms and parking at this hotel. First, the hotel is in a great location, minutes walk from the main square. We had a disabled room. The room was big, the beds comfy and the bathroom was excellent. Plenty of room for a wheelchair. We ate in the restaurant in the evening. It was busy but Eugene sorted out a table for six for us. The food was superb and very reasonably priced. It was the night of a CL game and the restaurant/bar was full of away team supporters. Eugene managed brilliantly. Check out was easy and we were able to leave the car in the car park until we left at c13:00. All in all a very pleasant experience. The rooms are great - the staff are even better.

Fantastic hotel in a great location, rooms were modern and spotless, staff very friendly and lovely breakfast. The hotel was full of football fans (myself included) and there was absolutely no noise at all. Will be back in the near future to further explore your beautiful city.

Breakfast is just awful. Had to go to reception to complain. Waited a while at the desk for breakfast waiter to check us in. Not shown to a table, just told ‘sit where you like’… Tables had not be wiped or set up. Then, the ‘breakfast’ couple of tired pancakes, no bread for toast, no bacon (and still none after asking), tough and chewy salmon, and some bland meats. This will all end up costing us 72 euros. They try to ‘sell’ the breakfast when you check in. Don’t fall for it

Wonderful hotel! We stayed in a huge family room which was clean, comfortable and even better than we were hoping for! Breakfast is lovely too with a good varied choice, and it’s in a great location for being so close and in walkable distance to the centre of Bruges. Staff were friendly and helpful and I absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to book here again if returning back to Bruges. Thankyou so much!

Lovely hotel over looking the large t Zand Square. Close to bars resturants etc. Nice quiet area. Market in the square on Saturdays. Literally 2 minutes walk to catch the bus from the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel looked lovely but we ate out at the many restaurants close by. Clean rooms, comfy twin beds, fresh towels daily. Toiletries daily. Tea/coffee, fridge, we bought fresh milk as they supplied dried milk. Safe. All in all, it's a great hotel.
