Where do I start... We arrived at 4pm as arranged to Postiers apartment. The keypad failed to activate. I contacted Smartflats who were very unhelpful and kept giving me the wrong codes. Eventually, after standing in the pouring rain we got in. The apartment was disgusting, not cleaned, feces left in the toilet, dirty towels over the floor, food all over the tables... dirty dishes everywhere and no running water. Contacted Smartflats again who relocated us to Smartflats Royal 101. This was a 30 minute walk out of the centre of Brussels and smaller with one less bathroom. This was not appropriate as I have a back injury and needed to be Central but this was the only option Smartflats would give us so we had to accept, reluctantly. Again, we couldn't access the apartment due to Smartflats giving me the wrong codes. After another 20 minutes stood in the rain, I worked out the code myself. Once inside, the apartment had been cleaned but the bedding and pillows were stained and disgusting. DO NOT BOOK WITH SMARTFLATS!!!
