Kintrae B&B

Another brilliant stay at Kintrae, Jackie & Mike are first class hosts and work hard at running a very professional business. We always stay at Kintrae for our annual visit to Buckie and have an evening meal on both nights, their food is absolutely scrumptious, we highly recommend Kintrae 😊

Kintrae is by far the best B and B we have ever stayed at. Michael and Jackie are wonderful hosts, and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was very comfortable, with stunning views across the Moray Firth. There was plenty of storage space and plenty of sockets. The en-suite was lovely with a great shower. There’s a very good choice at breakfast and service is excellent. Michael and Jackie also offer evening meals which you need to book in advance. We took advantage of this and the food was excellent (we can recommend the fish pie). Buckie is a good base for exploring the area.

The location right in town meant that walking everywhere with easy. Jackie and Mike made us very welcome and their b&b is very well maintained. The views from our bedroom and the sunroom over the water were fantastic. The breakfast menu was extensive and there were items there which we had not been able to have so far on our trip. Had I read my email from them more closely, I would have booked a meal for the day we arrived, but didn't notice that it was an option. As I said to them, I can't see how you would make it this place any better, but I'm sure that they will.

Great location, with superb sea view. comfortable and homely room and guest areas. Jackie made me feel very welcome .from the moment I arrived.The meals were excellent, tasty, fresh and beautifully presented and all served with a smile. Information before my stay was all accurate and my hosts responded quickly to any query.

Stayed here for a night with a few friends while doing the Moray Coastal Trail, Jackie and Mike were the most welcoming hosts ever and we had a good laugh and chat with them too! Food was amazing, the sticky toffee pudding was probably the best I’ve ever had, and they offered plenty of options for the vegan in our group. The dining room was beautifully decorated as were the bedrooms which were also spacious and comfortable. Lovely powerful shower too, definitely a bonus after a long day walking in warm weather. Overall a brilliant night, would absolutely recommend if you are ever in the area!

We stayed here for one night and had a wonderful stay. Jackie and Mike were very welcoming lovely hosts. The dinner and breakfast were both 10/10! The beds were so comfy and the rooms were spotless and lovely decor. If we pass through Buckie again we will definitely be booking again! Thank you so much! 4 hiking gals xxx
