Spent one night using points for a free stay to attend a nearby event. Check in was fine. The room seemed fine at first, albeit dated. After eating a quick dinner went to get early sleep , pulled down sheets and found toe nail clippings and blood stains and dirt on the sheets. The hotel was responsive and came and changed sheets on both beds. Assumed it stopped there. The following day we spent 15 minutes trying to shower with zero hot water. Had to call front desk once again to resolve. Apparently shower only had hot water if left on the cold setting.... After shower, then discovered sh#t steaks caked into outside of the toilet bowl. It was so gross We gathered things we had and left to get to our event. Notified front desk who said manager would be there when we return. Upon return, reminded different front desk staff who said she saw "in my notes" our concerns. She said nothing more and didn't seem caring but indicated manager would Followup directly by phone. 3 days later zero phone call We did receive 5,000 marriot points that evening but hardly a drop in bucket compared to how awful and gross the stay was and needing spend over an hour dealing w the hotel needing to clean/deal with a room. It messed up much of our schedule and plans and was just disgusting. Not giving 1 star simply because man making our bed in the evening did so efficiently when needed and with grace As Titanium marriot member, don't think have yet experienced such a gross Marriott room and disappointing service and can only say look elsewhere.
