My husband did the reservation. I am a light sleeper so we requested a room away from the street. The lady who checked us in was argumentative although she spoke Spanish only. She did not explain anything. We were assigned to Room 202 on the second floor. It was near the stairs and the elevators. In the wee hours of the night and early in the morning, we heard people getting off the elevators, talking loudly suitcases being dragged at the hallways- it was annoying and kept us awake. Our room faced the busy street that had shops and restaurants so it was noisy. We heard barking dogs a lot. The best thing about this hotel was the location. We were told rhat tgd breakfast was not included so we ate breakfast next door. Our room was dark and the drapery was dark. We had a small refrigerator that had two wine goblets inside. The bathroom door did not close well. The bath tub was in bad shape. We had to call the receptionist to have our toilet fixed. It did bir flush well. The best employee there was Henry who was from Peru. He spoke English very well. He was very efficient, friendly and was willing to help us anytime. He went out of his way to help us by calling a taxi, giving us directions, suggesting a restaurant and giving us other helpful tips. The other employee we liked was Rodolfo. He did not speak English. The female staff who checked us in was not pleasant. Unless you speak Spanish, I would not stay here.
