Hotel Conte

I had booked a nearby hotel but it was so awful I moved after my pre-paid one week was up and went into this hotel on spec. Booked the next 4 nights. They were very comfortable, and I would like to mention one of the front desk staff, Diego, as he was so helpful on my initial enquiries and thereafter with different things. Much appreciated. Hotel is nice, breakfast was good, location great. With the current economy in the city, nightly rate was very good. Most of Buenos Aires seems to be in need of maintenance, but this hotel was 5 star compared to where I was previously.

The hotel is very old. Need urgent renovation. The A/C was not functioning, need to open the window to have air flow in and out. Towels provided were so dark. The flush was not working properly. There was no blanket, on the bed was only a linen. Stayed only one night, checked out early morning to catch a flight. Not recommended.

POSITIVES: Location was amazing. Just a stone-throw from the Obelisk and a wide range of nice restaurants. The room itself was very nice; the bed was comfortable and big, the shower was amazing. Breakfast was very good. Price of the stay was excellent. NEGATIVES: A reliable WIFI connection is very important for travellers who do not have access to mobile phone data due to high roaming costs. Their wifi network seems to be unable to accommodate the big number of guests. We spoke about it with the staff two times and they said they would restart the router, etc, but the truth is that we did not have wifi connection in our room. It is not that the connection was slow or poor, we just did not have any, so we had to go and sit in the lobby in order to get connected. The elevators seem to be in poor service, they are very noisy and rattle a lot, and we did get stuck briefly. (When we got to the 11th floor, the inner door of the elevator opened, but the outer didn't, so effectively the elevator opened to a black metal wall. We panicked a bit and then travelled to a different floor, where the issue did not repeat.

O Conte Hotel está localizado no coração de Buenos Aires, próximo ao Obelisco, muitos restaurantes, lojas, Carrefour, diversos pontos turísticos. O hotel é antigo, elevadores pequenos e assim como o hotel, antigos. Quarto sem muita higiene, sem frigobar, internet ruim, café da manhã simples. O de bom mesmo é a localização.

Boa estadia, funcionários educados, quarto estava limpo e hotel muito bem localizado. Foi a segunda vez que me hospedei nele, agora tem um novo local pra café da manhã, bem maior e com mais variações de comida. O único problema são os elevadores muito pequenos que acabam demorando pra chegar no andar e está sempre cheio.

Nos alojamos en el hotel durante 6 días. En líneas generales no tuvimos ningún problema, pero si hay detalles que deberían cuidar MUCHO mas. Es un hotel que hoy en día no es 4 estrellas. La recepción y hall de entrada están bien cuidados, el personal de recepción bastante dispuesto a ayudar, el 1er piso (dónde se desayuna) tiene los espejos y paredes sucias, la habitación donde estuvimos nosotros estaba bien, cama bastante cómoda, el baño antiguo pero sin inconvenientes, no hay frigobar en las habitaciones, aire acondicionado funcionando bien. El mayor problema es que las toallas y ropa de cama estaban manchadas. Las toallas por más que pedimos cambio dos días seguidos no las cambiaron. Una noche llegamos a la habitación y no teníamos toallas, pedi y me trajeron las mismas que se habían llevado (con las mismas manchas), pero secas y perfumadas. Cuando nos cambiaron las sabanas nos pusieron una de 1 plaza (en una cama extragrande) a lo ancho. El acolchado tambien manchado. Buen desayuno, la ubicación del hotel es excelente y la vista desde nuestra habitación era espectacular.

Muy buena ubicación, muy buen desayuno y muy buena atención. Ya fuimos unas cuantas veces y siempre todo excelente. Y la relación precio/calidad también muy bien. Volveremos y lo recomendaremos para que todos vivan nuestra experiencia. Saludos y gracias.

Muy bueno, el desayuno y la ubicación sobre todo. El único inconveniente es que siempre había que estar reclamando las toallas xq no las dejaban en la habitación. Un hotel cercano a metros del subte y la principal Av. Corrientes. Bastante seguro el lugar e iluminado.

Hotel 3 stelle superior con 15 piani molto ben posizionato. I piani bassi risentono un pochino del traffico sostenuto della avenida (siamo fra obelisco e teatro Colon) ma salendo il rumore di sottofondo cala di molto. Stanza gradevole, ampia fornita di tutto il necessario. Colazione ricca e varia. Reception molto attenta mi hanno fatto (con sistemi locali) un ottimo cambio alla sera e indicato un ufficio vicino di giorno. Prezzo ottimo circa 88 euro a notte. Alla fine ho fatto 4 notti più una al ritorno. Soddisfatto.
