Whenever we come to Uganda, we MUST come to The Haven! Everything is just perfect here: the food is delicious and the breakfast comes with a great variety of eggs, fruit, bread, pancakes and even Nutella! Just to name a few :-) Everyone is incredibly friendly, the service is great and the place spotless clean. And of course the view is priceless. We already look forward to coming back!

The accomodation needs to be upgraded. The family cottage rooms are getting too old, and there are too many ants on the floor. You will need to find a way to control insect for room guests. Well. I came here several times with my kids. Of course, the place is kid-friendly, but the condition of the room was quite sad comparing the charges you demand. Yeah there is the best view though.

Great resort on the banks of the Nile, about half an hour away from Jinja. The scenery is nothing but spectacular. You are right next to the mighty Nile. Service is friendly and efficient, the food delicious. Go for the full board option since the place is rather isolated. You can camp, too. Tents are provided by the resort and far cheaper than the bungalows.

We came to Uganda and decided to go to Jinja. We arrived at the Haven and it was just that. It was a relaxing and restful haven. The views were beautiful and the sound of the rushing water was so soothing. We went on a walk through the village, had a boat ride along the Nile and saw the beautiful birds, and had a massage. Everything was so enjoyable. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and so helpful. We highly recommend this lovely eco lodge.

We stayed at the Haven for two nights but wished we’d stayed forever. Everything in that place is tastefully done. The rooms, the restaurant, terraces and food were all perfect. Heavenly .. truly and totally beautiful. The staff are extremely helpful and efficient yet not at all intrusive. Enjoyed my stay tremendously

This resort is paradise on earth. It is a beautiful place to stay with a breathtaking view over the Nijl. If you don't already fall in love with the place, you certainly will with the people who work there. Super friendly people who make your stay even better! I can recommend this to everyone!

One of my frequently visited town escape resorts in Uganda. It is lovely!! Safe, beautiful, the meals are great and the breakfast is really a special one. Friendly owner and staff, been there many times and not a single experience as been questionable, so it keeps me going back!!

We stayed 5 nights at the Haven and can only recommend this place to people looking for amazing views and an environment for relaxation. We stayed in lodge 10 with a huge terrace and hammock for morning coffee and afternoon views over the Nile. We had full board and the kitchen was very flexible in terms of our request for kids and healthy food. We really enjoyed all the garden games - nothing fancy but a possibility to rewind and relax. The breakfast was served on each table and something we will miss.

Fantastic natural place. If you love serenity, nature and cool African design and architecture, this is the place. The most wonderful view of the Nile from the bungalows with birds singing and monkeys jumping outside your window. Very good service and food with a restaurant with same natural view. Don’t come for music and party- come for nature and coolness. Loved it.
