Prince of Burford

房間有點小但是五臟俱全，服務員態度都很好，唯一的就是沒有電梯要自己提行李到樓上。還有餐廳的食物很好吃😋

Nice spacious room, although our room overlooked the roundabout noise was minimal plenty of nice touches though, DAB radio, smart tv, phone chargers, filter coffee, king size bed, a short walk to Burford village, 15mile to Blenheim Palace

Lovely friendly hotel Food was amazing, both dinner and breakfast. Rooms in the hotel were a little noisy (but guess that’s what you get in old buildings) Little cold in the restaurant/ casual dining. Certainly accosting for dogs, felt very welcome

I’m sorry to say after looking forward to a lunch out we were very disappointed with our lunchtime meals. I ordered the steak and sourdough sandwich (the sourdough was burnt) my husband ordered fish and chips ( very little fish in it) The half lemon that came with it was burnt black. The chips looked like they had been reheated from the day before. We were given a reduction in the bill after complaining but I don’t think we will be returning any time soon.

Firstly can I say, that previous negative reviews, on this forum, the people can't have stayed, at the same hotel we did. That's that out of the way. We had not booked to stay, but came on my birthday, on the off chance, and yes, there was a room available. The level of customer service, is outstanding from the off. This beautiful hotel, has the wow factor, in bucket loads. We had a drink in the bar, even better, they did my favorite lager, Estrella!! We spent the day in Burford, and returned to check in. Beautiful courtyard roo, superb decor. Wonderful toiletries, fluffy towels, large TV, at the right height. Big selection, of tea and coffee, and they provided fresh milk. Off to dinner. Beautiful restaurant with real flowers on the tables, and candles. Lovely dinner, the Hanger steak is to die for, and thank you, to Ioan for giving us this free as it was my birthday and to Maize for your outstanding customer service. Best nights sleep ever. Very dark, and very quiet. Beautiful comfy bed and beautiful bedding. And on to breakfast in the restaurant. Brilliant service again. I asked for my fried egg, well cooked, and it was. Quality sausage, and produce on the full English, and my partners poached eggs were perfect. Lovely orange juice, coffee, and sauces were offered and there in a flash. Thank you for making my birthday wonderful. You should be The King of Burford. There are a couple of prestige hotels in Burford, one in which we have stayed. This was better by miles. We definitely return. See you again.

I recently organised my family, bridal party and a group of friends to all stay at the Prince of Burford over my wedding weekend. We booked out all the rooms for two nights and I used the 1st floor suite to get ready in before heading to nearby wedding venue Oxleaze Barn. We had a recce visit with a fabulous Sunday roast in Feb 23’ and then quite a few emails back and forth to organise the rooms, pre payments, timings, little details and a large ‘recovery breakfast’ the day after the wedding…I can honestly say the staff went above and beyond!! Everyone staying there loved the interiors and the food/drinks were great. The location was perfect, with a large enough car park for all the guests, makeup artist, hair stylist and photographer to park in and for our friends & family to wander into Burford once they had checked out. HUGE thank you to all the POB staff for making the weekend so stress free …nothing was too much trouble

The pub looks nice inside, food is ok, but definitely not worth the price. You can expect to pay 8 pounds for a pint of Guinness and 19 pounds for a burger with chips (no garnish and not a big portion). Service was very slow and pub was too hot. There was an assumed service charge included in the bill, which I thought was just cheeky, considering it took us 3.5 hours to get through getting served and getting out (we waited and had to prompt staff everytime between courses). The chairs were not very comfortable either, so with a long wait and a hot pub, it all amounted to a tortuous visit! We won’t be back any time soon.

A Butcomb managed pub. Located on the A40 just at the top of Burford which is a delightful historic market town. Service wasn’t the best; lack of training perhaps on the EPOS system? Nice warm “atmosphere”. Food delivery was a little slow (place wasn’t exactly busy) however the food itself was fine.

We booked a last minute Sunday lunch for 11 of us as a special celebration for some big birthdays in the family. I only booked Saturday night the day before and the pub was extremely accommodating and helpful so thanks for fitting us in! We were seated in a semi-private dining area which was great for our party. Beautiful interiors inside and the place is done out in a lovely style. The service was relaxed, and our waitress was lovely. We recommend the vegetarian risotto and sea bass dishes. Roasts were fine, although the potatoes and the Yorkshire puds were slightly over cooked.
