Lovely location set just outside the village of Burley in the New Forest. Lovely outside seating and comfortable inside bar and restaurant. We had a lovely lunch albeit the prices were on the high side compared with similar restaurants of the same standard. Julie was a very attentive and efficient waitress which made our stay more enjoyable.

really delicious food and the service was excellent for such a busy day and such a big table-cannot fault the perfect service at all. And food was lovely. Would recommend, thank you for a great lunch at the white buck. Will come back again. Thanks

we had an amazing stay for our first wedding anniversary. This country pub was exactly what we were after, it was in a perfect location, great interior, lots of space but still cosy. our room was a good size, very clean with some very kind touches - beer and biscuits. we were in a dog friendly room, zero issues with anything and there was a lovely little care package for our pooch. We had a fantastic meal, everything we ate was good, great service and a great selection of drinks. we ate elsewhere on our second night but wished we hadn't! breakfast each morning was very good, nice selection of hot food and also cereals etc to help yourself to. everyone we encountered (staff and guests) were friendly and chatty. we can't wait to come back again!

Cycled here for lunch. Had a good choice of food and garden and seating very good, plenty of tableas. Enjoyed so much came back again in the same week. The staff were very helpful and friendly and recognised us when we returned. We would highly recommend.

Julie, Dawn and team were exceptionally pleasant and cheerful at breakfast. The food was tasty and the ambiance conducive for a relaxed morning. Julie was helpful and proactive helping guests in a friendly happy way. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We were inside, but the garden looked lovely, so classy. We had a excellent service with our meal. nothing was too much trouble, as we had a 10month Cavapoo with us who behaved beautifully. Our food was delicious and high quality there is always something different each time we go. We have been coming for the last 22 years..

Came here for a birthday meal on a Wednesday afternoon and it was lucky we booked. Sat outside in the lovely garden and had an absolutely smashing meal, definitely a cut above the usual pub meal around here. The prices are a bit more London (especially for the drinks) than New Forest but the food especially was worth it. Massive car park and you could cycle straight into the garden, so a very good spot all in all. Will come again.

Fantastic food and ambience and Evie went above and beyond to make sure we had excellent service ( as did all the staff who helped us ) and an evening to remember. We will look forward to coming back to the White Buck another time. Thank you Evie.

Great spot to eat outside in the sun. Food was very good. Food was a little slow but it was bank holiday Sunday, without prompting Evie was already on top of it and couldn't have been better. We just enjoyed the sun for longer! Would definitely go back, the food was very good too!
