Oxley Motel

I needed overnight accommodation at the last minute and was relieved to find availability In Bowral. This looks like an average motel from the outside, but the rooms are immaculate, comfortable and well appointed. Excellent bed and linen. I had a wonderful night's sleep. Good bathroom and quality bathroom products in easy dispensers. It felt fresh, clean and modern. I liked it a lot.

Back in the Southern Highlands to look for property to move to. Stayed at the Oxley Motel for 2 nights and was surprised at the comfort and cleanliness. Looked like it had been recently upgraded and well done. Can recommend the Oxley for a short stay.

This is the clearest 3 star motel I’ve ever been in. From the moment we stopped at reception it was obvious that the owners take great pride in this facility. The room is a standard three star layout but definitely with 4 star quality. The bed was clean and really comfortable. The bathroom is really clean and tidy albeit a little small. The price was very reasonable ($165 for three adults). I would have paid more given the quality and service. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is a gem. We were in an upstairs king room , it was immaculate with pristine bedding and towels. On arrival the vietnamese manager greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this motel. Close to M31 and the lovely town of Bowral. Attractions close by are Fitzroy falls and kangaroo valley .

We had to attend a wedding in Berrima and looking for a place not too far but affordable, which we stumbled upon The Oxley Motel (approx. 15-minute drive to the wedding venue). We only needed a one-night stay, clean, affordable and with the usual convenience, that most places offer. The Oxley Motel, checked the list I was looking for. Our room had reverse cycle air conditioner, refrigerator, complimentary tea / coffee, microwave, flat screen digital TV, free Wi-Fi, wardrobe, free parking space right in front of your room and if you wish, they even offer room service continental breakfast which consists of a choice of juices; fruit (prunes or peaches); cereals (Muesli, Corn Flakes, WeetBix, Coco Pops, Sultana Bran); 2 x Toast & Butter (a selection of breads: white / wholemeal / multigrain / raisin and spreads: marmalade / honey / vegemite / jam); Baked Beans; and Spaghetti – all itemised with individual costs but you must order by 8pm for the following morning. If that’s not what you are after, there are many nearby cafes to choose from, only a short drive away (approx. 3 minutes) from the town centre. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand / body lotion and shaving cream are provided from clearly marked dispensers attached to the wall even make-up removal cloths. All rooms are non-smoking but there is a pot placed outside your room, for smokers. I found this place excellent value for money at $160 for ‘Comfort Queen’ and with the comforts at your finger-tips. I highly recommend, if you are looking for a simple overnight stay and quiet place to rest. The staff are very friendly, approachable and helpful.

From the first interaction (a phone call) the experience was professional, efficient and helpful. Even though we had stayed at the motel before, Thu was new to us but clearly outlined the types of accommodation, prices and honoured all commitments. The room had been renovated since we last stayed and the ensuite bathroom is very clean, has a walk-in shower and the towels are white and soft. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand and body lotion and even shaving cream are provided from clearly marked dispensers attached to the wall. In the main room there is a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle together with the necessary crockery and cutlery, a settee which also could act as another bed and a small 2 seater coffee table. There is ample hanging and draw space as well as a desk and small lounge. The bed is comfortable and bedside lighting is good. Ample parking is available and there is a well maintained lawn area with benches and umbrellas to facilitate a pleasant afternoon beverage and/or meal. The Oxley is one of the best in the area and is excellent value for money! Highly recommended.
