NIK the Greek

We fancied something different for our aniversay and boy we were not disappointed. You have to remember this is a family run restaurant and all dishes are cooked fresh, that said. The staff are super friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful. Our waiter, Luis and Timon Was only to pleased to point out diferent dishes with a good explanation. My wife had the pitta wrap with chicken, the meat was tender and very tasty, the wrap it's self was very light and soft. I went for the cod well. This was so tasty with the lemon and rosemary sauce very very nice, i highly recommend it. I finished off with a traditional Greek coffee, strong and sweet, poured at the table. 5 visited the area and went on line to check somewhere to eat. Found nik s Greek place. Food was delicious and great value for money. Service was great too. Nik came out of kitchen and asked if we were happy. These sort of touches make a huge difference to me. Great really can't recommend enough.

Unfortunately I stayed over Christmas 2024 for three nights, room No 5 smelt of damp, the view out of the window was of a flat roof with a industrial expel air from the kitchen below, the window had a broken wooden blind, the bed and mattress was of poor quality there were no draws to use for your clothes and on the second night & morning the central heating together with the hot water failed…I checked out after 2 nights….would I use this accommodation again…. NO, NO, NO !
