I booked the hotel on a whim even though the were only a handful of reviews at the time, but I left with a good impression. The hotel is new (as of this posting) so everything feels very clean and fresh. The design and aesthetics are also high quality.
In terms of the location, it's about 10-15 min walk to the metro stations depending on your walking speed. I think the location is good if you're planning to leave the hotel once during the day and return in the evening. If you plan to go back and forth from the hotel several times throughout the day it could get tiring. It's also about 15 mins walk from Seomyeon, which is a very lively area filled with bars, cafés and restaurants. It takes just over an hour to get the Hyundae beach area.
The room itself is very spacious and the one I booked also had a huge bathtub and Japanese-style toilet, which were great. There are a few odd design choices, though. For one, there is no light switch by the bed so you have to walk all the way across the room to turn off the lights at night. Another thing is the bathroom is large yet the sink is small and has no space to put any toiletries. It's extra odd because either side of the sink is empty space, so I think if they put some small tables there it would solve the problem.
On the roof there is a large outdoor lounge area. As it was winter I didn't spend much time there but it seems a nice place to relax. There's also a coffee machine that's free to use and some different kinds of tea.
One other thing to note is the check-in time is 5pm. That didn't affect me as I arrived in the evening, and they have a luggage storage area as well.
