Tembo Safari Lodge

Super nice Personal, nice rooms, perfectly located close to the park entrance. The rooms are large and warm water was available at any time of the day and night. Also breakfast, lunch and dinner always perfect! Also nice view on the lake. Looking forward to seeing everyone here again the future.

We had a fantastic experience here! The food was delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. Our room was not only very spacious but also spotlessly clean and comfortable – truly a wonderful surprise at a great price. A special highlight was seeing hippos up close – it was fascinating to observe them in their natural habitat. We also went on a river tour, where we were lucky enough to see three large elephant families as well as male elephants bathing. In addition, we spotted crocodiles, more hippos, and an abundance of birdlife. Overall, an unforgettable experience – we highly recommend this place!

The location gives life and indeed highly advisable in queen Elizabeth as the best lodge so far .More the place has very good food very remarkable the portion is just excellent Yh with my friends had a lot of fun and all thanks to the staff that made it happen

A great location, with good food and helpful staff. Rooms large and spacious albeit a little tired, with verandahs with great views of the Kazinga Channel. Lots of bugs which made it a bit of a challenge for eating as the restaurant is kept very dim to avoid attracting the bugs.

Rooms are very spacious with large balconies facing the Kazinga channel. You can see the hippos frolicking in the water right from your balcony, not to mention the the pelicans gliding on the water. The rooms are beautifully decorated with local and rustic elements. The staff was friendly and took good care of us. The breakfast on the balcony of the dining room was unforgettable. The park entrance is just 5 minutes away. The place is near a bridge and a petrol station. So rooms a bit further away should be preferred if you like quiet and peace.

This place is amazing! An elephant wandered through the site around dinner time, that was a first! The main lodge along with the food and staff is fabulous! I really had a lovely time. My tent cabin was incredible, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this lodge to all!
