Busuanga Bay Lodge recensioner

We had a lovely stay Busuanga Bay. It was our mini moon and the hotel was super quiet and relaxing it is far from the centre and quite hard to get to but it suited what we wanted at that time. They had complimentary facilities like paddle boarding and non motorised water sports. Their spa was decent and the staff were all friendly and accommodating.

The resort is remote but it has spectacular views of a tranquil bay. The infinity pool looks out to it and surrounding islands. We upgraded to a bay view bungalow which is much nicer than the cheaper waterfront room. The food is very good and the service is even better. The island hopping tours are great. The gym is very small though if you are into fitness. There is no beach. Other than that, it is a great resort. Quiet and peaceful.

This is a very lavish resort with a lot of activities available to guests. My only feedback would be that the extra services are quite expensive for what they are. Beautiful location but no accessible beach. Very friendly staff and Pirate Dive Shop on location.

If you like to have a quiet & relax holiday, please stay here. Services are good, but foods are just normal.

Very good hotel and personel

Amazing place, quite unique. The best: the staff, super helpful and always with a smile in their faces. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very nice, with a comfy bed and a very good bathroom. The views are breathtaking and the massages are one of the best massage i ever had! Its been great spending time in this magic place

Service is superb

My partner and I decided to do a big Asia trip with Taipei, Manila, Palawan region, and Tokyo right after before going back home to San Francisco. Something we really wanted after exploring big cities like Taipei and Manila is to be able to reset. We enjoyed a couple of days in El Nido where we were situated next to the town with easy access, and then decided to check out Busuanga. The resort offers airport pick ups, and it was a good 40 minutes to get to the resort. It is situated in a more remote area, with Coron around a 30 minute drive, but we decided to stay in the resort for this leg of our trip. The room was massive, and we did book a room with AC and also wifi, and enjoyed the double shower, double sinks, and also the roomy double closet. The common area was very open with a beautiful view of the bay and also the sunset/sunrise. We utilized their spa services, and free amenities like the paddle boarding and kayaking at the water front. It is not a white sandy beach kind of place, but to be honest we did not mind. After lounging for a couple of days, we decided to book a boat trip to explore the islands nearby. We did not want to do a group tour to be honest since we wanted to zip through it based on our schedule. We decided to skip one of the 4 locations they offered because we did not want to be under the sun for 5-6 hours so we went to areas we wanted. Definitely go to the coral garden to snorkel! I am not a big snorkel guy but I really enjoyed that. Since it was just us two, we paid for the four person spots in able to take the boat out which did not upset our pockets when comparing it to USD. The biggest thing I enjoyed were the staff, truly. They really made our experience great. A big shoutout to Felix and Nanelyn for being so kind and attentive to our needs.. like another round of Red Horse beer while at the infinity pool. This resort is definitely a place for those wanting to relax. Not for those who constantly want to go into the city for dinner every night since it is more isolated. Yes, the food is more pricey at a resort compared to street food in the city, but it was actually amazing! If you're on a tight budget, stick to the hostels and street food. But if you are looking for an amazing experience and resort lifestyle, definitely book this place. It did not break our bank, and we also felt like we received the best quality for our buck.

Hands down, amazing! It was the most personalized one we've ever experienced. The staff members led by AJ (great leadership skills) took really good care of us and went above and beyond what we expected. In fact, they went outside the resort hotel to buy some of our essentials and needs. The atmosphere was everything. The view when you enter the facility is out of this world that pictures and videos do not do justice with. You have to come here to feel the warm Filipino hospitality and dive deep into what real tourism really means. We recommend getting the Pass Island tour package + diving which is so worth every dollar! Thank you Dexter, Jackie, Jenny, Rica, and Nicah for all the love you showed us during our stay. Highly recommended!

We ended up at Busuanga Bay Lodge somewhat by accident. I had considered booking it, but decided on another resort instead. When our flight was canceled and we had a 3 night extension to our stay in Coron, we opted for a change of scenery at Busuanga Bay Lodge. The resort has a hip, instagram-worthy pavilion and pool area, with truly exceptional views. The infinity pool is jaw-dropping. Having already spent a few days on the island, our struggle was that there wasn’t much to do at the resort. We went on two kayak trips and the kids enjoyed making leis one afternoon. We took a half day snorkeling trip and visit to Pass island, which was quite nice. The dive center was unfortunately fully booked for the two days we wanted to make a trip, basically leaving us with little to do but enjoy the pool. If we hadn’t had a few days of R&R already, this might have been exactly what the doctor ordered, but we ended up feeling a bit stir crazy. The service was OK. The concierge / booking manager was quite good, as was the snorkeling guide Aldi, but the rest of the staff a bit more hit-or-miss. It’s avoidable and perhaps a bit petty, but I was quite annoyed at the extravagant pricing for the small snack selection the offered, and on-site laundry. We needed both, as the 3 night extension to our trip was unplanned, and paying almost a half-night’s lodging cost for laundry, some cashews, and a bag of Cheetos was pretty outrageous. Overall, BBL was not our favorite resort on Coron for a family trip. For an Insta-worthy young couple’s trip, however, it might be just your ticket.

Amazing service from the BBL team - we had an issue with our booking which was dealt with and solved swiftly and competently. We called the hotel from the UK using Whatsapp and the reception team responded immediately and addressed our concerns straight away. Just a really good customer experience and one we wanted to share.
