This is a hidden gem in the Philippines. Meriel and staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The property is very unique and designed with local charm throughout. It is a 1 hour drive from the airport and Coron town proper however this provides you with the chance to see the beauty of the island countryside. We took the kids (9 & 10) and stayed in the villa with amazing views and private loft for the kids to hang out. We recommend kayaking to the private beach one day and renting a boat to visit Black Island another day. A very special, peaceful place. We will be back!

Had an excellent and unforgettable 3 days at La Estancia Busuanga with family. Service was beyond compare! Staff would serve our meals where we want to eat like in the veranda in our villa, on the covered gazebo over the water or on the dining room. Staff would bring umbrellas to our villa during a downpour so we can still go on outings. The food was excellent --fish was always fresh and the buko juice was to die for! Had some plumbing issues one early morning and staff came right away, within minutes, and fixed the problem. Highly recommend La Estancia Busuanga to everyone every time!

I have been to many places in the Philippines and some abroad and this is by far one of my most unforgettable vacations! I love the place and amenities especially the outdoor jacuzzi with a view of the sea and I like that there is a beautiful swimming pool also. Eating outside in several locations is such a nice touch. My older sister with me had some difficulty with the winding path going to our villa but she managed it because she also fell in love with the place. The staff were solicitous and helpful. I definitely will go back!

This is probably the most naturally beautiful resort that we have ever stayed in. The views out to sea are genuinely breathtaking and set within the beautiful garden setting of the resort. The sea is lovely and still allowing even the more middle aged traveler to kayak around the mangroves in blissful silence. The pool is relatively small but perfectly formed and perhaps one of the most warn, pleasant places to wile away some time. The food and drink offering is quite good, although at times there were a number of core ingredients unavailable that prevented the full menu being available. Staff are pleasant and service laid back in line with chilled out environment. It is probably worth noting that the lovely setting does come at the cost of accessibility for less able visitors.

Several of my friends recently stayed at La Estancia. We read prior guest reviews and I must say La Estancia lives up to the good reviews. It was amazing! The location of the resort is breathtaking. You can just disconnect from the hustle and noise of the city, but they do have wi-fi if you need to be available online. The staff is super friendly and they will go out of their way to help you with any questions you have. There is a broad selection of food available, but please try the mango crepe, you will thank me. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. I just had a one person room and it was nice and right on the water. My friends who had families had larger rooms and they were spacious and overlooked the water also. As far as things to do, I recommend kayaking through the mangrove. This will take to a private beach that looks like something from a Hollywood movie. If you want a nice and relaxing spot outside the big cities, please give La Estancia a try.
