Cashew Grove Beach Resort

We came back here after 5 years and were not dissapointed. Cashew Grow is everything you need for serene, laid back time on the beach. The location is remote, far from touristy spots and crowds. That means that there is no phone range, and WiFi is only in dining area, so if you need to be connected 24/7 with internet, consider some other place. In return you have beautiful views, basic, but lovely cottages with terraces to enjoy your morning coffee or read a book. If you feel adventourous you can take a boat trip to one of plenty locations. The food is simple, but tasty, with good choice of vegeterian options. And the staff is awesome, very helpful and always smiling. Definitely recommend this place for you internet detox and relax.

Kind of sorry to write a bad review because the staff is so nice and friendly and the location is really nice, on the beach, very nice and clean pool and the bungalows are beautiful too, as well as the bathroom with it! Also there are friendly cats and dogs which is awesome! Good A/C in the room, hot water in the shower. But the food….! It’s expensive and the portions are way too small! Some things are good like the baked eggplant (still too small) or the vegetarian curry. But for example the potatoe gratin was 5 slices of potatoa with a little sauce!! The breakfast is a joke, the „fresh fruits“ were 3 slices of apple! Comes with fried rice or toast and egg… You pay a lot of money to stay here, so there really should be better food included! The Pinacolada: no cream in it and it was tiny! So is the coke! 140ml!? But to be fair we paid less in the end for that “cocktail”. No wifi in the room and very bad wifi at the restaurant and pool area. One night it was raining and it rained in our bed. No soap in the bathroom. And we had a strange smell in the room, like pee or something… but it wasn’t too bad. Also takes a lot of money to get here and back! No public transport. From the airport to the resort 1500p and from the resort to coron town 2500p At least in the end the manager was open to our complains and suggestions and said she will work on that! So it might get better! So it is a nice place to relax far away from everything if you don’t care about food and don’t need wifi!

Très content, Très beau reportage sur la plage, jolie piscine, propreté des chambres, services proposés allant du massage à l'excursion, location de scooter, serviettes de plage, masque snorcjeling gratuit, billard....bref un vrai plaisir d'avoir séjourné dans ce joli endroit. Aux alentours la nature et un petit village typique. J' oubliai, un personnel aux petit e soins et tout cela de manière très naturelle, bref, un super séjour.
