Holiday Inn Express Cardiff Bay recensioner

Room was not ready for check in at3pm so I had to wait for the room to be ready. Breakfast was included and good

Great service, great location if you have a car or enjoy a nice walk along the dock and canal. Would recommend!

Booked for myself to visit Cardiff. Have been to the baby area before but not to the hotel. Good location. Room didi the job for what I needed. Spacious and clean. Would recommend.

The hotel is very cleaned. Stop it more welcome to play it new the room is clean comfortable bed your sleep and lovely breakfast. Enjoyed it. 

Breakfast wasn’t very good and could have used more variety. The washroom had a slow water flow issue, but overall the room was decent for the price. If you’re traveling in summer, make sure to ask for a fan, the room can get hot very quickly, and opening a window isn’t an option.

Welcomed warmly by reception and efficiently checked in. Reception also helped us with directions for both the bay and the city centre. Good location to visit Wales Millenium Centre. Just a ten minute walk. Good breakfast which was regularly replenished and tables cleaned. The staff were very friendly

Lucky , We just booked for one night . I see it on their website that should have an air conditioning , it is not truth . Only the lobby on the ground floor has a real air conditioner with cool air , unbelievable! The room is too hot , the staff said that the air conditioner in our room is in eco system thus it just an air flow system ! I need to borrow a fan from the hotel but it doesn’t help and the window has a lock that only allows me to open not more than 10 cm . I sweat all night long . Also , The water pressure is very low .

Everything is ok but the air cond in our 2 rooms not working so we cannot sleep well because rooms are hot. Already complain but they said cannot fix it and rooms fully booked. Dissapointed…

Size of a twin bedrooms is good. The breakfast is good, too. The beds are comfortable. No shower gel in the bathroom 😔 luckily we checked before we stepped into showers! Tissue box wasn't filled with tissue papers. I guess its housekeeping needs to be improved!

Room was spotless staff were very helpful Breakfast was very good also but the parking was a nightmare as couldn't get a place as there were lots of large work vans there takeing up 4 places of parking g but the hotel ot self was very good

Nice clean hotel with comfortable beds.

The hotel was lovely and clean and the room was just what we needed after a long day of travelling. It would have been nicer if we had a bath In the room but that is just personal preference. It was clean and tidy and we had tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We were only a twenty minute walk from town a perfect distance to walk into town and walk back safely the route is well lit and pretty straight forward. The breakfast was fantastic and it is served overlooking the bay so a lovely morning view. The breakfast was buffet and we had multiple trips up and down to enjoy all the food. Our favourite was the pancake machine with the strawberry jam it was delicious.

I had a lovely stay here. The room was very clean and a nice size, plenty of space for one or a couple would be fine too. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was the usual basic hotel breakfast but satisfied me just fine. The location is perfect, so close to Cardiff Bay which is where I wanted to be, but tucked away and quiet. There was no noise from anywhere, so a very restful sleep. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

Nice hotel and good location. Coffee machine broken at the time we were there, hopefully that it would get fixed. Rooms clean and good size.
