Premier Inn Cardiff Bay

good and no issue

Close to the Cardiff Bay area and a very short bus to the main city and Cardiff Castle. Breakfast was excellent (but no muesli). Rooms spacious but no fridge (I think that the UK don't do fridges) we did enjoy our stay and would fully recommend staying here. Car park is next door at a multi carpark which is subsidised by the hotel @ 25 - 30%.

Staff that worked in the evening in bar restaurant and reception were great all doing what ever need, we had a problem with our bill this was sorted straight away. Very nice room we stayed in premier plus room, lots off hot water ,fridge, good bed and air conditioning. Food first night we eat in hotel had meal and breakfast next morning , meal was good , breakfast ok, then on the Thursday as going home on Friday decided to stay in hotel again to eat, big mistake, starters not as good as Monday had pizza for main that was ok but to big could have had one between us,next morning at breakfast cold plates cold food , they did put up more bacon but no better. So when we left for home left with bad impression

We opted for a premium room upgrade.Large room with king size bed.Stayed at the back of the building,very quiet apart from some current building work noise after 8am (we had been made aware of this) Staff were extremly helpful and pleasant,extra towels,tea milk etc.Bus to city centre just around the corner.

Slept on bed, loo full of toilet roll, receipt and empty milk containers on the side, hotel deny me notifying them of issues, but I magically received a complaint card, so refund denied. Premier inn normally are my default location, but Cardiff Bay is best avoided, someone had taken a nap, used the loo and had a drink after check out, refund denied!

I enjoyed my weekend away. We had a lovely, clean, quiet room in walking distance from the venue where we went to see a show. It was easy to check in and easy to check out. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't try the restaurant but that was our choice.
