Good quiet location, can walk into Buxton easily (note step hill on way back!). Rooms were clean and to a good standard, had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. They have a refreshment area, cold milk, water and snacks which is a great idea and they only ask for a donation. Good selection of food at the breakfast which for us was excellent. Would certainly recommend.

Very comfortable and well maintained B&B. Ten minute walk to town centre (the Crescent). Nice breakfast. Appreciated the real coffee and fresh milk in the bedroom. Used the electric car charging (at a very reasonable rate). Recommended.

We stayed at the Manse for the first time very recently. It won’t be the last. This lovely guest house is set in a quiet street close to the centre of Buxton. The Guest House is exquisite - tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left the service was faultless. Moreover the attention to detail in our room , in the guest house and at breakfast is second to none. Breakfast was excellent both in the amount of choice available and the way it is presented. The Manse is classy, comfortable and welcoming. It is one of the very best places we have stayed. Oh and it was very reasonably priced. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Fabulous!

You can’t really fault this Victorian Guest House. Lots of thoughtful touches and easy parking outside. Good varied breakfast menu. Short walk into a very impressive Georgian spa town.

Samantha was very welcoming on arrival. Situated in a pleasant quiet area of Buxton, only a 5 minute walk to market place and short walk to centre. Plenty of free parking on street. The room was very nice , clean, and tea/coffee etc provided with refills if requested daily. Nice bathroom with good shower. There is a fridge on landing filled with bottles of water and cold milk and sweets on each landing, very tempting! Breakfast very good with a large range of options. Samantha and Stephanie are excellent hosts and we would certainly stay again.

A gem of a place, attention to detail was exceptional. We loved the breakfast, everything was fresh and beautifully served. The house is full of character, the room we had was bright and airy. We would definitely stay here again if we were in Buxton.

We stayed here just for one night, but what lovely place to stay. The room was large and tastefully decorated, with plenty of tea, coffee ,biscuits and plenty of refills available. The breakfast was brilliant, lots of delicious choices. we chose a full English which was delicious. The whole place was spotless throughout, lots of free on street parking available. I would recommend staying here if you visit Buxton

Had a lovely relaxing stay, the owner cannot do enough for you and is lovely. The room was comfortable with everything you could need. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection. Perfect!
