We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Atlantic Byron Bay. This boutique hotel surrounded by lovely tropical garden and pool. We loved the common area where equipped by full kitchen, fire place and spacious lounge area. It was nice to have a fire at the night time. Our room was modern but facing the street. We heard late night street noise during our weekend stay. There was no sitting area or kettle/mini bar in the room but we found easy enough to use the common facilities at the ground floor. The whole property was well maintained and clean. On site parking was busy and limited but we managed to secure a spot. Overall, we had a relaxing weekend. You can’t beat the central location with short distance to restaurants, cafes and beach.

Situated close to the beach and to the best cafes and restaurants of Byron Bay, "Atlantic' was beyond our highest expectations, in every way. We were greeted warmly and shown to a spacious and luminous room, which was super-clean and smelled fresh. We walked around this beautifully designed and well maintained hotel, to discover lush and healthy gardens full of bird life and several communal areas with fridges, full cooking facilities, laundries, bathrooms, etc, and bicycles and surfboards available for use by guests. The pool area is delightful and is supplied with clean pool towels, plus beach towels are available at reception. The couple of resident, beautiful (and harmless) water-lizards were a delight to see in the gardens and in the pool area, and they seemed to enjoy, as we did, the magnesium waters of the pool (when guests weren't in it). We were very impressed with the architectural design and with the attention to detail of the interiors of this hotel. We would certainly recommend staying at the "Atlantic" and we would love to come back, soon.

Prime location, minutes to the most happening area yet streets away to be away from the noise. Beautiful heated pool and plenty of facilities to use for free, beautiful and we'll equipped kitchen, barbecue, surfing boards, bike, binoculars, beach towels, they have thought of everything. Staffs are helpful and super friendly. A very pleasant environment to be in. Will come back again! Highly recommended for a tranquil stay.

This place is a gem.. i’ve traveled many places in my 66 years- but this surpasses them all.. We extended our stay 4 times- couldn’t leave- felt like home with no stress.. beautifully layed out & decorated. The bikes, surfboards and even surf racks fr the car took it over the top!! Dont miss it

The Atlantic just exudes tropical tranquility! It’s a little oasis in the heart of Byron. The location is fantastic, everything is in walking distance. The property is kept so clean including the rooms. Thank you to all the staff and owners of Atlantic for such a beautiful, restful stay! Sad to hear you will be closing your doors this winter as you just nail it as ultimate hosts!

***** The Atlantic is quite boujee, with amazing detail wherever you look! The feel is so luxurious and super clean. Friendly staff who are to be applauded for this superb venue, that is so close to everything. To top it off, suite, bed and pillows incredibly comfortable. Our stay was too short, and we'll definitely be back again soon. *****

First of all I would say that this hotel is beautiful and well fitted out. The pool is lovely with fresh towels to hand. We stayed in room 3 near to reception and I'm afraid that it was the noisiest room that we have ever stayed in. There is a pumped system for the water supply and we had a terrible noise in our room every time a tap was switched on. So much so that we were aware of every toilet visit and the duration of showers and hand washing. The walls were paper thin and I don't believe that they had any insulation. There weren't any seals to the doors which rattled and we could hear all conversations in reception. It was suggested to me by reception that I may be a light sleeper and they weren't aware of any issue. We complained and we're moved to a room that was about two thirds the size of the first but still had the same issues with lack of any sound proofing. The room was clean and had all facilities though despite being small. I emailed the hotel prior to this review and after exchanging a few messages, the replies have dried up. On our trip we stayed in 12 hotels and this was the noisiest by far but ironically, one of the prettiest....

The Atlantic is nothing short of amazing. The communal areas are lovely, the rooms are immaculate and so so comfortable, the pool area immaculate and relaxing and it’s in such a great location to walk absolutely everywhere. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Lovely environment and atmosphere. The only thing that let down our stay was the noise. Bad acoustics in the stairwell and hallway. The doors are very loud closing and you hear your neighbours arriving and departing to their rooms all the time. We had a strange experience with someone knocking on our door late one evening. No 'excuse me housekeeping' or any introduction. My partner and I were in bed and we called out 'yes hello' but no response. Person kept knocking and my partner got up and opened the door to a man who didn't appear to be in inform enquiring if we had any used glasses or cutlery. Odd. The kitchen downstairs was at times too crowded for our liking. One couple in particular were always there and we didn't feel like conversing with them. Really liked the magnesium pool.
