Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal

Our 16th trip to the resort and it only gets better with each trip! Truly an amazing resort with the best staff we have ever seen ANYWHERE in the world. From the minute we left the airport and had Cesar drive us to the resort (who is a fantastic driver and a better person) to the entire staff at the hotel. Special shout outs to the pool staff, especially Carlos, Manuel, Fernando Panchi, Jonathan and Jim. The spa is one of the best in the world, specifically Betty and Edith (Claudia was injured, but she is also super). And, of course, our concierge Mariel, who is truly the most amazing person who is ALWAYS there to help, no matter what you need. Fernando (General Manager) is a great leader of the entire team and I can't say enough about everything Pedregal!!! Run, don't walk, to the resort....you will not be disappointed!

Waldorf never ceases to amaze us with their beautiful properties, but their staff made our trip memorable. Raquel Vazquez was our personal concierge, and she was in touch with me months before our arrival to ensure we had a perfect itinerary. I let her know we were coming to celebrate my partner’s birthday and mentioned he likes Formula 1. She arranged for W.A. to make cookies with his name and race cars decorated on them. Beyond thoughtful. Rachel was a text away and always available to answer any questions. Salvador and Victor at Don Manuel’s for breakfast are amazing. Salvador is personable and takes so much pride in his work. The small attention to details made us feel truly special. Salvador had desserts and sides made that weren’t readily available because he knew we were celebrating. Daniel Sanchez at the adults only pool provided remarkable service. He always ensured we had the chairs we wanted with unobstructed views of the ocean. He’d be attentive and also give his guests space. Seeing him was consistently a highlight to our mornings. El Farallon is a beautiful restaurant on the cliff. The sound of the waves crashing with a sunset in the background is picturesque. We went on a sunset cruise on their Dos Mares yacht. I recommend being on the bow of the boat even if you may get splashed a couple times. Great 2.5 hour experience. Thank you to all the staff who made us feel so welcome.

We had an amazing stay at the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal. Everything about this hotel is amazing. From the plunge pool in each room to the chips and guac delivery every day, this hotel truly doesn’t miss. The service is next level. All the staff are incredibly friendly and you can truly tell they love providing excellent service to their guests. Special shout out to our personal concierge, Danna. She made our stay even more special with her incredible service throughout our stay. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary and we had the most Amazing time. From the moment we were picked up at the airport from the hotel private car service to Carlos Hernandez our butler for our entire stay, to Roberto the future chef and housekeeping who always payed close attention to every detail. The views were incredible. This was by far was one of the best hotels in Mexico. We did not want to leave the hotel because the amenities were so great!!! The daily guacamole and small coronas were just the right touch for mid-day!! Let’s not forget the surf and turf sushi rolls.. just wow!! I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay. I look forward to our next visit!! Thank you to all the wonderful and amazing staff!! The end to the trip with cookies and water for our ride to the airport with Cesar as our transport to the airport was the last special touch to our trip!!

This is our 4th stay and are never disappointed. The staff as always was very attentive and want to make your stay special. I do not know of a way that they could improve on service, that is what keeps us coming back! This year the whales were very active and fun to watch. Thanks again for a wonderful stay you make it very hard to leave.

Since we didn't get a chance to around our birthdays, we decided to do a late bday celebration over my holiday break. I have Hilton Diamond status and have always wanted to stay here. I was doing some random searching and found three nights open for a standard reward redemption at 120k points a night. I had a free night certificate as well, so I thought why not?! Let's do it. Their cancellation policy was 3 months out, so once I booked it, it was a done deal. It ended up being 240k points plus the FNC. I have to admit, I did stalk my reservation a bit. At one point before our stay, we were upgraded to King Deluxe Ocean View, but that was taken back and we eventually ended up with the room above. The room was on the top floor in the back of the resort, so we still had a nice view even tho we were far from the beach. The room itself was a good size. The plunge pool was an awesome perk as we could chill outside while enjoying the atmosphere. When you arrive, you get a welcome margarita. When you get to the room, there is a cute pink bottle of tequila with nuts. (They no longer do clase azul.) You also get a daily delivery of two mini coronas with chips, guac, and salsa. If you're not in the room, they'll leave it there for you to enjoy later. The mini fridge was stocked daily with two each of - diet and regular soda, beer, sparkling water, and I think some kind of juice? They also have glass bottles they refill with drinking water. Upon leaving, you get a sugar cookie shaped like a turtle which was very cute. Since we were celebrating our birthdays, they did give us some cute candles and a bday dessert during our last breakfast. While here, we did Room Service, Pool Service, El Farallon, and Don Manuels. Room service was tasty. We got a cobb salad with lobster, side of chicken, and fries for $107.42. This included tax and a 15% service charge as will all the totals below. Pool service was nice while lounging. Two casa amigo blancos, a macallan 12, and the pedregal burger for $153.27. For dinner at El Farallon, we just went all out and ordered whatever we wanted - a large water, a glass of bubbles, one wine tasting, the oysters and caviar, the surf and turf, and the snapper for $637.97. Afterwards, we hit up Don Manuels for a woodford reserve, macallan 12, and two cigars for $135.96. After we checked out, since our flight was later, we killed some time at DM again and got a mitchers rye and macallan 12 for $81.22. All prices above are in USD.
