Hotel Royalmar

Con mi familia alojamos algunas noches en este hotel ubicado en el paseo maritimo de Cagnes sur Mer en la Coste Azul. El hotel tiene distintos estacionamientos para los huespedes del hotel al precio de 19 euros por dia pero si no se quiere pagar se puede estacionar por las calles en frente al paseo maritimo gratuitamente desde las 28 horas hasta la 9 de la manana del dia despues. Fuimos a un Family Room ubicado en el penultimo piso del edificio situado despues del primer edificio principal donde estan la recepcion y el restaurante y no tiene ascensor. La habitacion era muy limpia grande y bonita con aire acondicionada silenciosa y muy buena y con una cama matrimonial muy comoda donde dormimoe muy bien y otra individual y con un balcon con vista mar un bano bonito pero donde la alcachofa de la ducha de pared no funcionaba, por lo que nos vimos obligados a utilizar la ducha de mano. El baño tenía auriculares, una pastilla de jabón y papel higiénico, pero no tenía zapatillas. En general todo el hotel esta limpio buen cuidado en la zona de la recepcion en los jardines y en las mesas al abierto. Hay un restaurante donde se desayuna con mesas internas y tambien externas en la terraza al abierto en el piso de arriba con hermosa vista sobre el mar. No desayunamos en el hotel pero el gerente del hotel nos regalo algunas bebidas en el Happy Hour. El personal muy amable acogedor sonriente competente cordial y algunos de ellos hablan tambien el italiano. Precios caros come en toda la Francia. My family and I stayed a few nights at this hotel located on the promenade of Cagnes sur Mer on the Coste Azul. The hotel has different parking lots for hotel guests at a price of 19 euros per day, but if you do not want to pay, you can park on the streets in front of the promenade for free from 18::00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. the next day. We went to a Family Room located on the penultimate floor of the building located after the first main building where the reception and restaurant are and it does not have an elevator. The room was very clean, large and beautiful with quiet and very good air conditioning and a very comfortable double bed where I slept very well and another single bed and with a balcony with a sea view, a nice bathroom but where the wall shower head did not work. , so we were forced to use the hand shower. The bathroom had headphones, a bar of soap, and toilet paper, but no slippers. In general, the entire hotel is clean, well maintained in the reception area, in the gardens and in the open tables. There is a restaurant where you have breakfast with indoor and outdoor tables on the open terrace on the top floor with a beautiful view of the sea. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but the manager The owner of tje hotel gave us some drinks gratis at Happy Hour. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, smiling, competent, and some of them also speak Italian. Expensive prices like all over France.

This advertised “4-star” hotel is not what you would expect. 1-star maybe 2-star at max. We booked a premium double, newly renovated room with a sea view. We got an old room in poor condition, not renovated, no view, nothing premium about it at all. We complained and got € 30 off our dinner at the rooftop restaurant. The service was not impressive nor was the food. We will never stay at this horrible hotel again. Sad for them since we have a lot of guest coming to Cagnes -sur-Mer visiting us. Don’t go there! Terrible

We had a comfortable two day stay in Room 309 on the top floor of the main building. The room was nicely appointed and the bathroom was of a good size. The bed was comfortable too. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge with two bottles of water supplied on arrival. We had a westerly view over the sea and will be going back. Just a few negatives. The room had been cleaned quite well but we found a bit of poo on the bathroom floor which had not been cleaned up (yuk!!). Also, there was an annoying pump that ran intermittently throughout the night. Jerome on reception was very helpful as was Cedric in the dining room - we did not eat there but had a few drinks at the bar. The cost was reasonable at €160 for two nights plus €11 taxes

Very nice room with balcony for the superior one. Staff is the most important value here. They are most welcoming and will help you with a genuine smile. Coffee pod machine, and good working AC. You’ll sleep like a log in those beds.

We enjoyed a very relaxing stay in the annex behind the main building. It is a pretty building and away from the road so it is quiet and looks on to a garden with partial sea views. The room (18) is very small but comfortable, has a kettle and a fridge and is good value for money. The lady at reception, Manu, was very kind and helpful.

An amazing lunch break by the sea! I was visiting the French Riviera with two friends and we ended up for our lunch in this amazing restaurant. We got a very warm welcome from the manager responsible of the restaurant. He took care of us with his assistant Aurelia. The manager was super helpful with the menu explanation and suggesting us the best meals based on our requests. A great suggestion also given for the wine in relation to the food we decided to have. Aurelia and her attention to the details was wonderful. The food was also delicious! Nothing to complain about and thank you very much again to the manager!

We had a cosy room with a great sea view. The restaurant was particularly good. Great dishes and the chef even came out at the end of the evening to ask us how the meal went. The staff was additionally kind and eager to help. I spent a very nice year new and would recommend the hotel as well as just the restaurant!

This has to be the worst hotel on the planet!! We experienced 4 different rooms due to flooding(burst pipes) size. Room 18 the size of a shoe box. Room 21 flood in bathroom. Room 22 massive flood (5 inches of water all over. Finally ended up on the top floor with no balcony. Restaurant and bar closed on Tuesday and Wednesday!!. Most of the staff useless!! Our thanks to the receptionist Manoushka who kept our heads together, without her we would have slit our throats. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!!

Ce n'est pas 4 étoiles mais une étoile qu'il devrait afficher ! Une honte les BB hôtel a comparer valent 5 étoiles ! Arrivée tardive la réceptionniste appel la responsable à 1h du matin pour savoir comment allumer la chambre.... L'eau au lieu d'être dans le frigo est sur le bureau ..... Quel surprise au réveille.......... Une salle de bain dont tout le carrelage au sol est décollé, fissuré, il faut faire attention de ne pas se couper les pieds, le miroir ne s'allume pas , le plafond est commencé mais pas fini.......... Je connais depuis plus de 10 ans cet hôtel restaurant déjà avec l'ancien propriétaire c'était le même état rien n'a changer !!! Je ne vous parle pas du buffet du petit déjeuner ! Fraise qui date depuis déjà quelques jours , viennoiseries également et pendant que vous déjeuner le personnel parle d la façon de se laver les cheveux , de leurs accident de scooter et j'en passe..... Pour un 4 étoiles vous avez plus de la moitié du personnel qui vous reçoit soit en short soit en collant transparent c'est a fuire et je vais faire un signalement au comite qui attribu les étoiles car pour 130 euros il vaut mieux dormir dans sa voiture.
