Quinlan & Cooke Boutique Townhouse and QCs Seafood Restaurant

The room was huge, minimalist, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. With a large bathroom and shower unit, and a walk-in place to hang clothes, it was an easy space to manage. Good coffee, and they cater for breakfast in your room! In the morning, fresh pastries were hanging in a bag outside door. To go with them, a fridge with fruit compote, smoked salmon and Brie. Muesli. Fresh milk. This accommodation caters to the smallest detail.

I had a 1 night stay here on a work trip. My room turned out to be lovely: large, bright and warm. The bed was big and comfortable with lovely crisp linen. I ended up eating in the restaurant later that evening. The mussels I ordered were divine: a plentiful portion of plump molluscs in a gorgeous sauce. The young team working there were professional and friendly with all the diners, As the hotel had advised, breakfast was served in the bedroom, with pastries delivered to my door next morning. There was also an array of fruit and cereals and a Nespresso machine in the room. I left well rested and with my appetite well sated. The only blip was the check-in process. Before I arrived I received what seemed like a deluge of emails about directions and check in options, none particularly clear. One of them told me I was in the Yellow room, another directed me to a website which told me I was in Blue. Confused, on arrived I ended up at the bar counter where a friendly staff member sorted me out.

Every service went above and beyond. The suite was beautiful, the grounds were open air with many sitting areas, the knowledge of the area from the staff was very helpfuland the food was wonderful. Most important was their willingness to help us with all our needs. Awesome place and will be going back

Wonderful stay at Quinlan & Cooke this week. Arriving in Cahersiveen it is a real highlight on the lovely high street. We we warmly checked into our fabulous room the Skellig suite - massive bedroom/living space with all the amenities you need. We had drinks in the bar downstairs before dinner in the lively buzzy restaurant. I had beautiful butternut squash soup and the best fish and chips! Breakfast is served in your room as in - in the fridge is delicious yoghurt, smoked salmon cheese and granola - all Q&C labelled and accompanied by fresh pastries which are delivered in the morning. It was all perfect. Had a lovely chat with Kate on our way out - we were sorry to leave. Highly recommend!

The accommodation is fab. Always go back every year. Many thanks to Kate, Deirdre and all the staff. Would highly recommend. QCS restaurant is def one of the best in Kerry and further, everything so fresh especially seafood. Beautiful. Thanks

My friend and I dined here last Wednesday evening. The restaurant/bar is very atmospheric and staff very efficient and friendly. My friend had the burger which she enjoyed. I had fish & chips. Fish was nicely cooked and fresh, however chips and mushy peas were very disappointing. Fingerstick processed "something" that passed for potato and "something" green in a tumbler the size of an egg cup that passed for mushy peas. You surely can provide proper homemade potato chips in this day and age. Music too was disappointing, though the volume was low. Traditional music would be welcomed and appreciated given that most of the clients seemed to be holiday makers/tourists.
