The walls are paper thin. You can hear people from the next room. No one answers the phone in this hotel. I called for two days all day nonstop at different times and cannot speak to someone. I was provided an email to email them from a corporate phone number and it took them two days to respond to my email.  I left all of my chargers in the hotel room. They are not in my suitcase, so there’s no other possibility, except for that they were left in the room. They claimed that they were not left in there. This means that one of their employees stole them.

The hotel is a good location walking distance to Bars and restaurants It is very dated and in need of a revamp old lifts We got checked in but was disappointed to Find out that the hotel was under construction and that there was no pool they did provide transport to another hotel but we just went to the public one Fresh towels were provided daily but the bath had not been cleaned or washed out The bathroom is small can’t fit two people in at the same time

Good location, only a very short walk to the sea from walk along the esplanade. The breakfast is good and the staff are very friendly. There's an activities desk in reception and they offer plenty of choice.

The hotel’s location is great, but we had a few inconveniences. irst, the room phone wasn’t working. I informed the front desk, and they said it would be repaired, but it never was. Then, the alarm went off in the middle of the night, and we were told it was just a test. Testing in the middle of the night was very inconvenient. We couldn’t get back to sleep afterward.

A bit outdated rooms and foyer areas..is in need for a good renovation. The beds were too soft for my tastes , but the pillows compensated for it. Other than that , everything was perfect. The best part of double tree are the warm cookies they offer on arrival. I had requested the recipe for the same, which the team happily obliged. A very friendly staff and really helpful. Rooms were clear and well sized. Keep up the good work.

Hotel is very dated. Room has molding smell. Bathroom is very basic. Not much a service from the hotel either.

The Hilton Double Tree is in a perfect location, being within walking distance of Cairns City points of interest. The hotel is clean and the beds are super comfortable. Staff are friendly and obliging. Breakfast has gluten free cereal and bread which is a boon to coeliacs. We will stay there again.

Amazing experience. Really beautiful property. Great staff. We booked our reef experience with them. Had really fun. Helpful staff members. Loved their welcoming fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. They updated our room for a ocean view room.

The location of the hotel is superb, it is very convenient to get everywhere from here, either by walking or by public transportation.

We really enjoyed our stay & will definitely be back. The room was lovely with the ocean view. Staff were fantastic & location was great with a short walk to night markets along the esplanade.
