Southern Cross Atrium Apartments recensioner

The 2 bedroom apartment suits us (2 couples) very well. It has more than enough space. The apartment was well equipped. The location is also good, very close to supermarket, also not too far from reef terminal (20 mins walk). However the wifi was terrible, very bad. The beds were just about okay. Also the tiny quantity of toiletry supplies bothered us as well.

I recently stayed at Southern Cross Atrium Apartments and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is definitely one of the highlights—it’s conveniently situated within walking distance of the ferry terminal, which was perfect for my Great Barrier Reef outing. Additionally, having supermarkets nearby made it easy to pick up groceries and essentials, adding to the convenience. The room itself was well-equipped, especially for longer stays. It came with a full set of cooking utensils and kitchen facilities, which made it easy to prepare meals and feel at home. However, one drawback was the WiFi. The signal in the room was quite weak, which made it difficult to get online consistently. This was a bit frustrating, especially when I needed to do some research or planning for the next day’s activities. I often had to move around to find a better signal, which wasn’t ideal. Overall, Southern Cross Atrium Apartments offers great value with its prime location and self-contained rooms, but improving the WiFi would make the stay even better for travelers who need reliable internet access.

Beautiful Accommodation in the perfect walkable location to everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here and we would definitely stay here again. The staff were so friendly and we loved the bag storage service that is offered.

Convenient location with good service of reception, the only disadvantage is no lift

Only location is good, no housing keeping unless every 7 days you stay, no service at all, gym facility is limited.

Great place, clean and with lots of amanities. Central position, walking distance from lots of shops and restaurant but quite.

Good location close to Train station and shopping mall, Great amenities and easy to access, you can see aged facilities in the room but they work well. Highly recommend.

The location is very convenient. It’s near to the cairns centre and train station. Very nice place!!

Nice apartment room. Refrigerator, stove , microwave as well as usual toaster and kettle. Next to large shopping centre with Coles and Woolworths.

The place is well run, the manager friendly. We liked the security and free parking.

Stayed here for Xmas. The apartments are located in walking distance to Esplanade and shops. The pools gym and sauna are nice. The room was mainly clean. Had some stain on our bedsheet. We used another bedsheet on top to cover.

Friendly and helpful staff

A nice place to stay with decent rooms and some nice swimming pools and outside spaces. 15 mins easy stroll to the sea/esplanade and 5 mins from central station. I should mention that ‘garden view’ is an exterior view, the ‘swimming pool view’ is the interior and much nicer.
