Very convenient location. Near amenities & many restaurants. All within walking distance

I stayed here twice - the first time, an ordinary room, the 2nd time, I thought maybe the Horizon Club might be a higher level. Before I say anything, I may choose to stay again for the location! This property is not 'Shangri-LA' as you would expect - the windows are all dirty which is disappointing for 'Marina View' rooms... The Horizon lounge furniture is closer to school lunch hall style, and the dinner - well, I don't eat in food halls with sausage rolls and spring rolls. We ate in the main street which was AWESOME!. The ping pong table is bent, bats are without surface, and the air hockey machine without pucks.. Basically a 'cashing in on the brand' experience...

Just okay :/ The staff was great and very friendly. However, the hotel quality did not match up with the standard we have seen at other Shangri - La Hotels. The paint on our door was badly peeling and the padded benches in our room were stained. Two of the outlets in our room did not have power. We ordered room service the first night and the rice that was sent was hard a a rock and stuck together. The location was great and the potential is there but this hotel is in need of some upkeep and a standards check. For any other hotel this would not be as big of a concern, but for the price and expectation of a Shangri- La Hotel, we were expecting a bit more.

Amazing hotel. Beautiful location with unbelievable views from the balcony. Swimming pool and facilities were outstanding.

Built on the pier right next to the cruises and tourist centre. Many dinning options down the ground floor. The hotel is old but under good maintenance

Location is great. Food is yummy. The amenities are little old, other than is perfect

Good location and fair service. Would be better if the fridge be filled with some drinks at lease some beer.

Walls a little thin however great location and close to the marina. Good view but most places closes early in cairns.

I could have given 5 stars but didn’t because I requested to give me extra 1 hour check out time but they declined. They just didn’t care at all those people on the front desk. I won’t come back there are plenty hotels in the vicinity, a little walk is good exercise; plus the night market is on the other side anyway.

Location great, price for room should of been less. Needs so TLC.

住了三晚的體驗感真差糟糕透頂👎👎👎 這次是家庭三個人出遊，提前預訂了這家酒店三晚海景房間（己全額交了房費），第一晚入住時，説是三個人入住，要多交了120刀才能入住，關鍵服務態度太差太冷漠，交了錢入住後，房間沒一點增值服務，連洗漱用品和一次性用品，也沒增加一份（房間只有二人份）。 第二天我們想退定後二天房間，酒店不同意，衹同意後二天衹加80刀每晚，反映給攜程後，攜程相關人員積極跟進，酒店表示可以退房但不退己交房費，衹好被迫交錢入住後二天。 可沒想到第二天一早出門時，發現所住區域，整個內走廊（通風極差，見照片）在裝修刷油漆，酒店也沒提前告之，或將我們調換到未裝修區域房間，我對刺激些氣味很敏感，因一大早外出旅遊，回來後住一晚後早上起來，喉嚨嘶啞痛，吞嚥困難，看來油漆刺激氣味有很大的原因，找酒店反映，酒店説裝修是正常現象，不會通知房客，對我的身體不適只是表示遺憾，而且説可能是自身其他原因引起的，我説酒店是否有醫務人員檢查下，酒店説只是可以預約本地或易地醫生（要自己上門看，費用我們自付），因我們人生地不熟，行程全部要改，如醫生出具是因為油漆原因引起的咽喉疼乾咳才談處理方案，但如果醫生説不確定是不是油漆引起的，所有因此事產生的費用和延誤行程（後續己預訂好的行程的機票住宿等等）全部責任由我們自己承擔，酒店概不負責。 反映給攜程，攜程迅速積極跟進，可酒店方同樣拖延，到發評論時也沒給予回覆。 對酒店這種推卸責任和處理方法，表示真的很遺憾和無奈（特別還是國際知名酒店集團更感到心寒）。 真是糕糟透頂的一次住宿體驗，好在有攜程，可攜程單方面提出的攜程單方面補償方案，總讓人感覺知名酒店集團對問題的態度傲慢，個人的無助和第三平台（雖然是上市大企業）的無奈。
