Hotel Ilusion Moreyo - Adults Only

The location at the rear of the hotel is second to non. The sea view rooms are really lovely. Granted they are smaller than others but have everything you need for your stay. We had a leak from the floor above and we're immediately relocated to a suite. The staff at the front desk were genuinely lovely. Some of the morning breakfast staff were "surly", others were lovely, including the lovely omelette maker chef. We only had B N B, breakfast was fine, more than enough choice. There are lovely restaurants near by, we rarely go half board as we like to find tapas and Spanish restaurants when possible. The towels in the room were quite threadbare...maybe need upgrading. The beds were very comfortable. Air con was iffy...can't control lowering the temp lower than 20, which is spanish law I think. And they seem inadequate for the rooms, especially the suites. I ended up opening the patio doors as I was baking... Pool area is quiet, especially for August, plenty of beds, but most are in the shade, depending on the time of day. Shame really as the big square between the restaurant door and the tables was empty and in the sun all day....maybe some beds could.go there during the day? Over all a nice stay. I would go back on a short trip. Cannot fault the view from the rear rooms.

This is an adults only hotel where the average age of residents is over 50. On arrival the hotel staff at the front dest was efficient and courteous. There was no help with luggage but I did not need it. I was offered a pool view at an extra cost. On entering my room, I observed the British pub over the road. This place was frequented by a good group and stopped playing loud music at 23.00hrs. Admittingly, I was part of the audience on numerous occasions. The hotel room was small with a balcony, but suitable. A good shower,tv, and lighting. It was perfect. Breakfast was at 8.00hrs and had an assortment of hot and cold food. Again, staff were cheerful even though the occupants kept stealing the tea bags, and the coffee machine kept running out. The pool was cold. Lots of chairs in the sun with umbrellas. Evening meals provided a selection of hot meals. Some local. A cheerful chef made the experience great. Hotel prices were also reasonable. Several running machines and a jacuzzi is available. I will return to this place.

What a great place to stay! We found the hotel to be ideally placed for us, close to the harbour and a number of bars and restaurants within minutes. The hotel is adults only and we stayed for 6 days bed and breakfast. The rooms were ideal and the breakfast food choices were tasty and fresh. Can't think of any negatives and will definitely be going back. Recommended.
