Inturotel Azul Garden

I think this is the cleanest resort I have been to. Not a piece of litter including the surrounding area. It was just 10 mins to the beach & a soft play area & small fair for toddlers. A supermarket was also just across the road which was so handy with fresh bread & pastries daily. I will go back.

Last minute booking, the room was good, staff friendly and helpful, short walk to nice beaches and so many good restaurants close by. Really good good bus service to go further afield, we went to the beaches at mon drago park I will definitely go back in future.

Just returned from a 14 day stay at Azul Gardens with my partner and two kids, both under 2. The pool area is lovely, spacious and quiet . It was never an issue getting sunbeds. Take your own towels however as the hotel charge €1.50 a day, pp. The hotel rooms are large with big balcony’s too. The rooms are very dated and could do with a serious revamp. The cooking facilities are basic, 2 ring hobs and a microwave but they do the job! The hotel staff are all lovely and very friendly. Housekeeping of our room was a little sporadic, some days it was cleaned, others not. Not really an issue but nice to have the small bin emptied daily especially when there is 4 of you and it builds up quickly. The supermarket by the marina is the cheapest place to get milk €1 (€2.60 at the Spar) and nappies €5 (circa €18 at the Spar). They also sell lots of microwave meals like lasagne, potatoes bravas etc if you are looking at staying in one night and want something quick and easy. It’s a 20 min walk but worth it to stock up. We popped across to Esmeralda a few times but it was always so so packed. We much preferred Azul Gardens as it was much more peaceful. I wouldn’t hesitate to return. We had a great holiday and made lots of family memories.
