Globales Cala'n Blanes

Well where do I start..... This Hotel is the cleanest hotel I have ever been to. The rooms are cleaned every day. Beds made. Bins emptied. Clean towels everyday. Very friendly staff at the Bar. Food is excellent such and lovely variety. Something for everyone's taste. My son has a severe nut allergy and the Chef was there every meal time to tell us what was safe for him to eat. The Restaurant Manger also helped us at meal times. The Manager of the Hotel is lovely. The Reception Staff and very helpful and recognised us as soon as we walked into the Hotel as this is our Fourth time staying there. The Entertainment Crew and very good and they get you involved in lots of Daytime Games to pass the day away. And we will be returning there again very soon.

It's quite some time since I submitted a review but I felt the time has arrived. My usual phrase I start with is that I never write a poor or bad review because I wouldn't like to humiliate or offend any hotel and if an hotel is poor they will find out for themselves without getting a prompt. I have placed a review on a Globales hotel before and have visited it several times since because I liked it, so I booked this hotel on the strength of previous Globales experiences. I'll just cover the general things before I get to the hotel itself...if you don't mind. I have been on the island of Menorca twice before but both times was on organised trips from cruises so I wanted to visit simply because of the quiet relaxing atmosphere the island gives off. I usually attempt to book my holidays with Jet2 package holidays because they always provide great service and they have introduced an extra on their app where they inform you in advance the number of the coach you will travel to your resort in...nice one. This resort is at a lovely cove with a little beach and a road which can be used to get to Cuitadella by foot but me being lazy I used the local bus which is the number 61, please note this bus only uses cash, no cards, it costs 1.70 euro per person, don't worry about when to get off as it will take you to a terminal in Cuitadella which is a beautiful touristy city and must be seen, the bus route is run in a clockwise direction and runs at 30 min intervals. This area is free from loud parties or nightlife but there is an area called Jimmy Hills which has the usual bars and cafes and is only 15-20 min walk from the hotel. If it is a quiet relaxing time you want I think you'll remain in the resort itself. The hotel is rated *** by Jet2 and I assure you it is definitely that, a really good 3* if you are familiar with Jet2 assessments of hotels then you will be aware it is really good for the average Joe Blogs and family flying out on holiday to a Spanish resort. The surrounding gardens to the hotel are kept in great condition and as you walk through the door the hotel is no different. When I booked the holiday I was trying to get a room with a sea view but this wasn't available so I sent an email 24 hours before I arrived and when my wife and I arrived the moment they heard my name they mentioned the email, the sea view is 20 euro/day extra but well worth it. The receptionist was extremely helpful and I got my sea view. Now this is the highlight of my holiday,.....THE STAFF....never have I been at a Spanish resort where the staff have been better than this hotel, I have published three staff photos with permission from them sought before I left for home, the other pic of the Spanish flag was placed on our bed each morning with a message I wrote on it...basically stating in Spanish 'Thank you for looking after our room lol. The hotel is spotless and the staff are all pleasant and helpful. Great location on the beach with restaurants nearby. I'm gluten free and the staff were always available to advise on the gluten free options in the restaurant. I would ask 1 thing of the hotel and that is that they get in gluten free lager to purchase behind the bar. Otherwise we had a great stay and we would return again.

Absolutely amazing time, the staff have all been lovely especially the girls in entertainment Cecil and Che, they made our holiday fun with all the daily games, meet a great bunch of people. The hotel is excellent as well never left it for the week we were here as no need to. The room was massive and clean, seen reviews you did not want to be put on top of bar but we were and loved it, you don’t get the noise you would expect, defo be coming back and asking for same room. Thank you to all staff you were all amazing and we can’t wait to come back.

Lovely location and very clean and friendly hotel. The beach is just down some steps so literally on your doorstep. I visited with my 3 children (15 , 17 and 18) and we loved the plentiful selection of food which caters to all tastes so most people will find something delicious to eat. We stayed in a sea room which was definitely worth the extra money. It was very hot during our stay so my only slight issue was that the air-com was not cool enough for me in the restaurant but that is down to personal preference and not really a criticism. Staff are very friendly and informative, entertainment was good for a 3 star hotel and overall atmosphere was relaxed in keeping with the beautiful surroundings, no rowdiness or was seen. The clientele were a lovely mix of all different nationalities so really felt part of the Globales family so to speak . My only recommendation would be to allow access to the beach via the bar area before 10:30. We really enjoyed our stay at Cala’n Blanes and if you fancy exploring Ciutadella is just next door as well as the coves of Cala’n Forcat and Brut. Would definitely visit again. Thanks .

We stayed here for a week in August 2025. Overall, we had a lovely week. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the sea view rooms are stunning, if you are considering going I strongly suggest the sea view rooms as the others are just overlooking the car park. The food was different each night, we still ate out 3 times just for something different. Some pros and cons to consider Pro - beach is steps away and lovely and shallow for small children to paddle in with 2 bars/restaurants -staff are very helpful and can’t do enough for you - lots of activity in the day such as football archery water polo but these are for older children - sun beds always available as they have a grass area near to the pool Cons - no entertainment on an evening for small children. There was a mini disco twice in the week we were there, but this was only for 15mins. We often took our toddler for a walk or to nearby bars with bouncy castle to keep her entertained - no ice cream around the pool, have to go and sit inside the resteraunt if you would like an ice cream which is a shame you can’t sit round the pool with one - snack bar is just left over from breakfast lunch so we had to go stock up at supermarket - nearby bars are about a 20min walk away, the area here is quiet but it is a nice walk Overall we enjoyed our holiday but unsure if we would return again
