Fantastic hotel with amazing views over the beautiful bay! Definitely worth upgrading to a sea view! Nice room, huge walk in shower and nice toiletries and towels. Clean throughout but hallway carpets seen better days. Nice comfortable reception area. Pool lovely. Breakfast good, plenty of choice and pleasant staff. Kettle hire €1.50 euros a day worth it. Close to all bars and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Short transfer from airport. We were, on request, upgraded to an excellent sea view room (101) for the last 4 nights. Room very clean and bathroom recently upgraded with quiet and perfectly adequate air conditioning. Breakfast and evening meal buffet food was very good with plenty of choice. Plenty of sun beds around pool but shortage of parasols. Staff pleasant and very helpful. We would definitely return. Would definitely recommend stay here and would return.

Stayed September 14/21. Room 279 overlooking the children’s play area Lovely hotel great location The pool terrace overlooking the bay is great , we always managed to get sun beds even after going out to the beach till after lunch Room was slightly tired , chipped wooden laminate floor but the beds were very comfy and the bathroom large . Shower over bath , two sinks toilet and bidet The restaurant was fabulous, food lovely for both breakfasts and evening meal , didn’t try the lunches so cannot comment . The toaster was rubbish 4 attempts through the conveyor to still have warm bread ! Pool bar / bar open 11-11pm Great range of drinks reasonably priced The only disappointment was last day with an early flight asked if we could have an early breakfast , this was a bag of a ham / cheese sandwich, banana ,apple and water given from reception , I was hoping for a coffee and some pastries ! Would go again as lovely hotel and location

My first trip as a solo traveller This hotel was perfect in every way from the friendly staff on arrival at reception and my room on the 2nd floor was clean and spacious Large balcony which got the sun late afternoon perfect for relaxing Great extra is the fridge which I could stock with drinks if desired I was half board the restaurant was spacious plenty of tables to choose from and the choice of food was great Again friendly staff always keeping the areas and tables clean The pool area was lovely anways plenty of loungers and there was a fantastic view overlooking the beach and the sea great sunsets I will return to this hotel it suited me as a solo traveller the resort had everything you wanted supermarkets pubs cafes shops and a pharmacy Cala N Porter is a little gem

This is our third visit to Playa Azul. And again just as we have experienced previously, it did not disappoint. This hotel is a little piece of heaven in a corner of another little part of heaven. Amazing views, staff were absolutely fantastic as always. Very friendly and always willing to assist. Room was perfect, bed was comfy, shower was great. Breakfast and dinner service was just as you would expect, perfect variety for all tastes and cultures, nice clean food. Hotel was super clean, we commented how often you see the guys out cleaning the exteriors as well as the rooms. Always nice to see the hotel manager constantly on site and walking round. As said, this is our third visit to Cala n’ Porter and Playa Azul, it is a special place for me and my partner, so much so that on Saturday 31st I proposed on the lookout point just opposite the hotel. Padlocks on the railings to mark the occasion. We cannot wait to go back! Thank you to all the staff at Seth Playa Azul

We arrived for a one week stay at Playa Azul booked via Jet2. We are a young couple and opted for half board at this hotel. The first impressions of the hotel were good. The staff at reception were informative and quick to sort our room (room 226). The location was beautiful with lots of great places to eat although the stairs down to the beach were pretty steep! The room itself was clean, however, when we arrived back to the room in the evening there was a terrible smell. When we phoned down to reception at 11:30pm, they were quick to come to the room and try to clear the smell using bleach (we initially thought the smell was coming from the toilet when it was, in fact, coming from the air con unit). However, by 12am, the smell was getting worse. We then went to reception who moved us to a new room for the night so we could get some rest and agreed to move us to a new room in the morning. The new room was okay, although there were some hairs on the bathroom floor (I assume the room had been used for someone to get changed prior to a late flight as check out is at 12pm). We were slightly disappointed that we were not offered any compensation for the trouble this caused - no room upgrade, no drinks voucher etc. We also did not expect to wait until 2pm the following day to be moved to a new room, although they did say that there were no rooms available at all in the hotel to move us to straight away which is expected considering it is peak season. It is important to note that we were impressed with how the staff dealt with the situation initially (coming to address the smell, finding us a new room for the night) and how apologetic they were. Once we had been moved to room 320 there were no further issues with our stay. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice (hot and cold options) and there were many sunbeds available around the pool despite it being August with few people ‘reserving’ beds with towels. We only had one evening meal in the hotel which didn’t start serving until 7:30pm. The food was pretty average in the evening and so we chose to eat out the rest of the week, considering we had only upgraded to half board for a small cost per head upon booking with Jet2. If we were to stay again, we would go bed and breakfast and pass on the evening meal as there were plenty of great places of eat in the town (we didn’t eat a single bad meal during our holiday).
