Hotel very clean, good choice of food, room a bit basic. Kevin on reception made us feel very welcome he was totally lush, couldnt do enough for us going to miss his smile. Imad great guy, very entertaining especially with his bingo bongo, crazy guy brilliant! Sori behind the bar, great lady and very funny, we thought the staff made the holiday, 4 minutes walk to beach (amazing beach) and some great shops. Thank you guys for making my first holiday in many years memorable, definitely would stay there again.

The hotel was clean, and nice, it was near the sea and the shops and restaurants. The people working were friendly and helpful. We had all inclusive but didn't used it, because e eat outside. I definitely will recommend the hotel, but not the all inclusive

When we arrived at the hotel 11.45 we were informed that are room wouldn’t be ready till 3pm, no problem we were given our wrist bands to enjoy the all inclusive hotel. Drinks were better than expected but you need to pay 1 euro for your cup which is returned to you after using. If you want more premier brands then there is a cost. There is only 1 bar available and this opens 10am till 11pm. The pool area is rather small and sun beds are limited and not the most comfortable so you need plenty of padding, there are also a few tables in the sun the others are under cover. Food was okay for a 3 star hotel plenty of choice if you like a nice fresh salad or love seafood there was mussels and shrimp along with a new paella each evening, along with a pasta offering and always chips. If you want a burger or pizza this is not the hotel for you. The ice cream machine is amazing. Breakfast also had a good offering and some items were changed on a daily basis . There’s not a lot to do in the hotel, but that didn’t bother us as we like to go out and about and explore what the resort has to offer. We headed to Calla Millor a couple of minutes walk and went to the beach it was great sea warm and plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. The next day we headed to Cala bona and found the most amazing beach club which was worth the money comfy sun lounger, towels, pool and includes 100 euros of food and drinks in the price for your days stay in the early evening they have a DJ as the sun sets. We also found some really good bars off the side streets so worth exploring. The hotel was clean, beds comfy storage for luggage and a shower room if needed. It’s a great place if you just want a base to explore.

Stayed here for a few days with mu sister. First impressions when arriving just after 11pm were very negative after a frosty reception from Sadikh who was rude and unfriendly. Thankfully we didnt interact for the rest of our stay. The rooms are basic but clean, no fridge or kettle. Pool is a lot smaller than the pictures and not many sunbeds. Bar is open from 10am till 11pm. Food is lovely, plenty of selection which changes daily, wine and beer on tap in the restaurant. Snacks on the bar at 11am and 5pm ( cheese and ham sandwiches and pastries from breakfast) None of the staff smile or seem happy. Met some lovely people. Overall a good stay

The holiday was lovely and relaxing. Yes there was some gripes (mainly from other guests!) but overall was very good. The outdoor space was very small compared to the hotel (and opposite hotel which was part of the complex) limited sun-beds and they were very uncomfortable (no pads). But they had tables and chairs you could sit on. We used our towels and a cushion from the room to make them More comfortable. The staff work very hard - the reception staff were a bit surly. The hotel cleaners are very good and keep the place very clean. My only gripe cleaning-wise is the bins in the toilets by reception at the end of the day are overflowing, but I have seen that the bar staff check and have emptied it before the end of the day. Our bedroom has been cleaned almost everyday and towels twice a week. the cleaning staff are amazing and there is a smell of cleaning (bleach) throughout. In the bedroom - the beds are two singles we pushed together. The bathrooms could do with hand grabs rails as I slipped in the bathroom and bruised my leg and arms. The outside balcony is clean and it is good that it had a rail to hang wet towels etc. Although in our balcony one of the chairs was broken slightly as was the table. The animator/entertainment guy I think his name was Imad? he is very good, friendly and tries to get everyone involved when undertaking activities - ping pong, card games, darts and pool. He makes an effort to speak to all the guests which is lovely. We loved the bingo! ‘Bingo bongo!’ You really notice when he is on a day off! The entertainment as a whole is very good - the singers that we saw were fantastic and we throughly enjoyed it, especially the last night a lady forgot her name singer. The food - there is always something to eat which is nice. At breakfast the milks should be on ice as they tasted strange at 9.30am! Salads very good and usual buffet style (they even had vegetarian and vegan options). Every lunch and dinner there was fresh soup, fresh bread and a different paella. The drinks are okay - a bit watered down and the beer is good, especially in the dining room where you served yourself). The wine was unpleasant apart from the rosè. I like that you can have a drink with meals. No sangria on all inclusive which we were amazed by and this was €11 for a 1.5 litre. An array of cocktails on the all inclusive would have been nice. We paid €6.50 each for a sex on a beach and Black Russian, which were strong (which lead us to believe the all inclusive alcohol was watered down). Check before last day re: all inclusive we were told we could use it until we left which we were happy about. Overall the waiting staff, entertainment and cleaners are very good. There was some issues with other holiday makers - one guy got attacked by another guest and this put you on edge a bit. There tagline was ‘hotels that make you smile!’ Which mostly we did, but we wouldn’t return.

This is our last night in Cala millor. We stayed all inclusive at Blue sea Don Jaime. All the staff we encountered were very hard working and pleasant, all had a Hola when we passed. The room was basic but clean and all we needed. There is no tea/coffee making facilities in the room( I don’t know if this is just an English thing) there is a hair dryer in the bathroom. 2 small lifts in the main part of the hotel with a small games room. The pool is small but still enjoyable. The breakfast was okay. Not much for children who like cereal, the cereal was quite bland and tasteless but they would have the usual Spanish bacon, boiled eggs,fried eggs,beans and scrambled eggs. Pastries and toast making facilities. The orange juice machine kept runnning out but staff would fill up when approached. The lunch and evening meals were good, me and my party enjoyed them most days to be honest. Again not much for children but we managed. There is no entertainment for the kids although the Dj and a couple staff members would have a little banter with them my 9 year old was bored most evenings after the pool closed at 18.00. So we went for walks. The pool bar was mostly staffed by 1 member so was quite busy and the all inclusive cups are small(1st time all inclusive so not sure if that’s the norm) drinks are not advertised very well we don’t find out Prosecco was an option until last night and we go home tomorrow ha ha ha The hotel is 5 mins from the beach and shops and Cala bona is a 15 minute walk away. We have had an amazing week in Cala millor and will be back next year!

Positive aspects - cheap, food ok, superb location, nice pool, some staff amazing. Negative aspects - rooms extremely dirty, crockery dirty, men's discarded, used underpants left in entrance for a whole day, moldy air con and leaking ceiling over toilet, some staff very rude, drinks heavily watered down, doesn't cater for different dietary requirements. I have no doubt that this review will be answered by someone stating that I was mistaking my hotel for a more luxurious one - no I wasn't. It costs nothing to keep things clean and to have manners, that's basic good customer service, whatever the cost or the rating of the hotel. I expect I will also get a reply stating that the hotel doesn't advertise the fact they don't cater for different dietary requirements; no, they don't but they also don't advertise that they don't, either.

Poor hotel, staff were rude and unhelpful. Dirty rooms and bathrooms. Very poor quality and food was terrible. Definitely do not recommend. Bed broke from just lying on it. Terrible holiday experience. Would not stay here again! Kids pool is a tiny hot tub size pool, no playground as described. Extra activities were just loud music.

Stayed early June couples. Hotel grounds - very clean, the whole place is very well kept and smart. We had a hire car and lots of places to park Food - not unpleasant. But very limited options and repetitive. The restaurant staff weren’t the most friendly, and it was always very busy, so imagine it’s hectic in peak season. Pool - very well kept, lifeguard was very miserable and rude to a few staying. Didn’t bother me but did see a few “moments”. There’s so little sun loungers you would be very lucky to get set up unless you’re out crazy early. Pool is also very deep if visiting with kids. Bar - bar staff really tidy, bar is clean and I enjoyed the drinks. Entertainment was good to considering outside peak and not the biggest place. Rooms - very basic, clean but basic. If you need any modern necessities you have to pay to hire them such as fridge, iron, etc. Location - this was the best part of it, really close to the beach and a lovely ***** of bars and restaurants. To sum it up it’s a very reasonable budget stay. I probably wouldn’t go again but if you’re going for a week you’ll likely have a great time because of the location. Nothing was unpleasant just is what it says on the tin, cheap and tidy
