Hotel Biniamar

We stayed at the Biniamar as part of a package holiday. ROOMS - clean, small and basic, with very limited storage space. Plenty of electric outlets. Working fridge. Wifi worked well. TV, but no English-speaking channels. Room service was available every day and there was a small charge for use of the room safe. Plentiful hot water in the shower. We requested a couple of extra pillows and these arrived promptly. RESTAURANT - we had breakfast here every day and had a couple of evening meals. An excellent unlimited choice of cooked and continental-style buffet breakfast, with a lovely lady cooking fresh pancakes. Some interesting experiences (Spanish black pudding bearing little resemblance to the UK version!). Evening meals offered an equally wide choice of cooked meats, cold meats, salads, pasta dishes and deserts. The hotel bar also serves meals and snacks. FACILITIES - a bit of a let-down. The swimming pool water was ice-cold - far too cold to even dip your feet into. The is a large entertainment area but no entertainment to speak of - a speaker that was blasting out unthemed/uncurated music. A real waste of floor space that could have been used for any number of uses (flamenco dancers? Live music? Local acts?) that was reflected by venue being practically empty. Maybe they have something more going on in peak season... I didn't find it until the day before we left, but the hotel has a small but very well equipped gym. CLEANLINESS - the entire hotel was kept spotlessly clean. STAFF - wow! Above and beyond the call of duty - helpful in every way (and we did have a major issue that was not hotel-related but for which we got unending support and assistance). Efficient, knowledgeable, multilingual, polite and always went the extra mile. OVERALL - Cala Millor is a purpose-built tourist resort and the hotel is designed to accommodate visitors looking for an hotel in this in this area. Very well appointed for the beach and the main tourist shops, restaurants and bars.

This 3 star 1960s hotel has many positives. Firstly, the staff are all lovely, hard working and super friendly. The hotel is very clean and centrally located with an decent sized pool where sunbeds are always available. We stayed B&B and the choice of breakfast items was good and of a high quality. Our room was on the 4th floor with a side sea view which was great and worth paying a bit extra for. We stayed end of August into early September and I felt this hotel was really good value for money. Very minor negatives were the shower water temperature kept annoyingly fluctuating, the small balcony dividers were not very private and there was noise from the adjacent rooms presumably due to thin walls. These issues did not spoil our stay and are the only reason I have given a 4 instead of a 5 star rating. If you are a Cala Millor fan then this mid range 3 star hotel is definitely worth considering.

I was very apprehensive about staying here after reading the previous reviews about theft. However it turned out to be a great hotel , rooms were clean and spacious. For a 3,star hotel it was very good. The breakfast was amazing and had everything you could want. It is right by the sea and in the town so we walked everywhere. We all bought safe keys to avoid any potential problems so I would recommend that Also pack pool towels as they don’t provide any All in all a great stay

I highly recommend you reconsider staying here. It was fine until the last night. In the evening we returned to our room to find empty wallets and our backpacks turned upside down. There was a camera in the hallway so we wanted to see the footage - specific part of 3h, when most likely theft happened, we were told at the front desk that there was no one manning the surveillance at the moment and to report back tomorrow. The next day the reception sent us back to the manager who, after a short conversation, took down my phone number and said to call when we could see the footage from the cameras - we are at the airport already and still waiting... the manager told us we should leave money in safe, which according to the offer description was supposed to be in standard of the room, and indeed it was, but without a key... No intention to solve problem, covering their own asses, stalling and giving customer runaround

My partner and I really loved this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, our room and balcony were comfortable with a lovely spacious bathroom and everywhere was spotlessly clean. We went on a bed and breakfast basis with the option to eat in the restaurant in the evening, which we did almost every day as the food was so good. The variety of dishes both at breakfast and evening dinner was amazing and delicious and the evening meal was very reasonably priced. There was some form of entertainment each evening and the other facilities were also great - pool, gym, washing machine large bar area and for us, as we didn't hire a car, the 'bus stops to Palma and Cala Rajada and everywhere in between were only 3 or 4 minutes walk away and the post office was just round the corner. It was very close to the lovely sandy beach. Can't wait to go again.

10 day stay b&b . Lovely place breakfast plenty to choose from. Went in dining room 1 evening to look great selection of food. Room with a view of the beach. Staff very friendly. Room cleaned every day and clean towels. 200 yards to the beach. Large patio out side front of hotel. Pool area clean plenty of sun beds. Would definitely stay here again.
