Apartamentos Alamos

I wish I had read Google reviews for this property before booking. I too booked a fully refundable apartment but despite cancelling the next day the owner refused to refund my payment. Fortunately I booked via ********** and was able to get their support. They contacted the owner who still refused to refund my money. ********** stepped in and THEY refunded me in full so top marks to them and zero for the owner of the apartments.

We acctually had to cancel our trip to Apartamentos Alamos due to illness. As we were well within the free cancellation period we were not worried. We cancelled on june 30th and the manager Miguel Galmes informed us that it would take about 30 days for the refund to be prosessed. 30 days came and went and when we contacted mr. Galmes again we were told that processing our refund would take a few more weeks due to a high number of cancellations. We understand that sometimes things happens and so we waited. And waited. And waited. Since then we tried contacting mr.Galmes numerous times by mail, whatsapp and we’ve also tried calling. At that point he no longer responded to us in any way. It started to ferl like Apartamentos Alamos had scammed us. I actually opened up and informed mr.Galmes that we needed our money back in order to be able to book another vacation, since the one to Mallorca had to be cancelled. No response from Mr. Galmes. Then, when we informed him by mail that we would take the matter to the authorities, he all of a sudden responded. This time he said that what they would do was: «return in three successive payments of 378 euros that will be processed by bank transfer on November 30, December 10 and December 20.» Mr. Galmes also wrote that he would send us a copy of the first transfer on the afternoon og November 30. As of today, december 12th, we have recieved no copy of transfer and no money. And once again Mr. Galmes has stopped responding to our mails and we seem to be blocked from calling him on Whatsapp. When the refund process becomes a mess the least you can do is to stay in touch with your customers on a regular basis, until the issue has been resolved. But no, not with Apartamentos Alamos. So here we are, almost 6 months later, still waiting for the 1134 Euros we payed for the apartment. We are disappointed , very annoyed and out 1134 Euros. Up until our encounter with Mr. Galmes and Apartamentos Alamos Mallorca my husband and I have never had money stolen from us. Guess there is a first for everything, and at this point it feels like this situation with this hotel might be it. Because when you keep €1134 that are not yours to keep. That is theft. Appaling!
